About this listen

To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, she has endured a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife to reach the ultimate turning point.

Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fate of two tribes hangs.

Now Bella has made her decision; a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating and unfathomable consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life - first discovered in Twilight, then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse - seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed...forever?

The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic.

I couldn't wait for the audio book

I was so hooked on Edward I bought and read the book before it showed up on Audible. I was not dissapointed. I read it cover to cover over night, cried and was thrilled with the outcome. Now I'm downloading the story to listen all over agian. Only hoping that this isn't really the end and perhaps there could be one more story to be told.
If you loved the series, you will crave this too.

Wonderful Production! Highly Recommend.

Having read all the Twilight series in book form, I just had to listen to them as well. I find the experiences uniquely different in that both add to the story if done RIGHT. This is the key in audio books. The wrong material may be saved by a great narrator. A bad narrator rarely raises the material to listening level. Yet, in the Twilight audio series both are present.

The Best of the Series

I enjoyed the first three books but Breaking Dawn blew me away. While some of the plot was expected, there were excellent twists. Great fun! Meyer is a terrific storyteller.

My favorite in the series

Many of my friends liked this book least of the Twilight books, but for me it was my favorite. Having been firmly in the Jacob camp throughout the series, I never really liked Edward. It always struck me that his and Bella's relationship was shallow- he was pretty and she smelled good- but this book developed both of them better. The characters all became more complex, and the relationships all seemed to have more depth. I felt mostly satisfied at the end, but still want a sequel following the relationship between two of the characters (not Bella and Edward), but for fear of giving spoilers, I won't say who. All in all, I thought this book was the best, but there were still enough loose ends to make me want more.

Loved this Series

I thought the movie (Twilight - 1st book) was just OK, but I am always telling my kids that the book is usually better than the movie. My daughter agreed to read the book if I would read it as well. To my surprise I could not put it down, and have since read all 4 books. I would say this last book is my favorite of the series - but I do believe I could read more! Stephenie Meyer did a wonderful job of drawing the reader into the story. Even helped me to prove a point with my kids, my daughter was so into the books that my 17-year-old son (who only reads automotive books) started reading them and is currently on book 3. My children now agree that the book is better than the movie.
When I say I read all 4 books - I mean I was so into this series I couldn't put them down and was done with all 4 within a week.

Everyone is different and I am sure that some will not like the series, but for me it was great, and now I am left trying to figure out what to read next! I used to read all the time but busy life, business, three kids and so on, I haven't read much in the last few years, but this series reminded me how much I like to read.

I am impressed by this author and look forward to seeing more works from her.

Guilty Pleasure

The books series, or rather audiobook, is fantastic!!! A million times more insightful than either of the Twilight movies out there. I also loved the narrator's voice. She made it so I couldn't put the audiobook "down". The movies I found boring but the audiobook series blew me away.

A good wrap-up.

I enjoyed the fourth book in the twilight series for a couple reasons—a huge expansion on Jacob’s character and the lives of a couple of the wolves and the inclusion of new vampires and a glimpse into what other powers are possible for vampires to have. I remember reading this when it first came out like ten years ago but I feel like I got more out of it this time as a listener, particularly when Bella goes to Seattle looking for someone (no spoilers). I thought both narrators were really good. Matt Walters was a really good addition as the narrator for Jacob’s section. I would recommend this audiobook to fans of the series or fans of these narrators.

MUCH Better than the movies!!!

I resisted reading or listening to any of the books. However many of my students and friends were reading it. I decided okay I'll give it a try. The first book did not hold my attention but then I listened to a sample of it on audible and the performance was unexpected - when I think of Bella I only can imagine Ilyana's voice.
The author wrote a wonderfully dark romance. There are some lines that crack me up but those are in her first books. The books can be stand alone but I went and listened to them in order. I have since brought the books too. I recommend these books for young adults and on - not for elementary (my opinion). This book makes you think about more than romance but about choices and their consequences. The themes are more than good vs evil. Before I read this book I called it The Deadman, The Dogman, and The Nitwit! Now that I've read it I have changed. I get teased about my being judgemental and honestly only changed the nitwit to The Determined.

Satisfying end to the saga

A fitting end to the Saga. Believe it or not though, the movie is even better. We actually get to see two fights not in the book.
