White Haven Awesome!

The story is GREAT T.J. Green knows her witch works, great story! You are going to be hooked buckle up because it is going to be an exciting ride!!
The narrator though leaves something to be desired, at times her voice is monotone and I feel she could be just reading a shopping list. All the female voices are read in the same tone, same with the males. No difference from character to character.

So boring

I only gave it 3 stars because it is performed very well. It is too boring to finish actually. Took a chance on a new series and it backfired.

Great characters

This is a nice easy listen while doing chores, driving ect. I am definitely about to purchase the next book and see what’s happens next

Interesting story

Enjoyable story. Great pace of action, adventure, and explanation. Leaves me wanting to read the second book.

LOOKS LIKE BEING A S GOOD SERIES

This is book one in what looks to be an interesting story line. I am hoping the story and writing comes together a bit more to make it flow as the series goes on. I have the audible copy and found the narration pretty good, I was happy at the speed set and took the pace as it came. I am quite interested in the history of the grimoires and the past witch coven. Looking forward to next book.

Riveting!

When you need a good plot because you haven’t read the book in a long time this book will satisfy. What an amazingly well crafted story and interesting characters. Dammit here goes all of my audible credits to listen to this book series. Cheers to the authors wonderful work.

Needs a lot of development to be good

The story itself was okay, but the romance part seems to have been written as an add-in by someone very young and inexperienced. I got tired of referring to the guy as "hot," especially as it was read. Like reading a grocery list. The reader needs a lot of development. It's like every sentence is semi-urgent and not much differentiation in how she reads the different voices. Her voice in itself is fine. Her reading needs improvement. No passion or interest in the story at all. No "acting" so to speak. I wish I had listened to more of the sample. I would recommend that you read this book yourself.

Too Slow and too Many long pauses

The narration was too slow and there were too many long pauses. I was listening to this at a speed of 1.5 and still the pauses were killing me. I might try to read this book, but don't waste an audible credit. There are far better books out there to use your credits on this.
