Excellent book.

This book has managed well in every aspect. It does a good job of explaining things well enough, without making it all too dry and boring. The book itself is great.suggested gratefully.......

Informative guide

This book ended up being an out of the blue awesome presentation. I definitely knew a touch of C++ yet this book added as far as anyone is concerned, particularly identifying with utilizing Visual Studio. It doesn't go into incredible profundity yet it positively covers the rudiments well and gives some valuable illustrations. In the event that you need to jump straight into C++ this book is an extraordinary place to begin. Recommended to all.

c++

For a starting book this has some great concepts. It teaches good programming skills and does a great introduction on c++ concepts. I really liked his explanation on costs and how you can lock a variable down so it can't be changed.

Good quality information.....

It's fantastic resource. I've studied C++ in classes and on my own with other resources, and this book is definitely one of the best, clearest resources for understanding the language. I think that the author have a great deal of experience in C++ as well as making it very easy to apply. This is something just for anyone who is looking for a great step by step guide in C++ programming.Great explanation given........

A good one to learn!

Would you listen to C++: Learn C++ Like a Boss again? Why?

Yes I will surely listen to it all over again.

What other book might you compare C++: Learn C++ Like a Boss to and why?

Nothing to compare.

What does Kevin Theis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

An incredible talent. Been listening to his narration before too.

Any additional comments?

I completely enjoyed learning so much about C++. This is the beginning of learning coding and programming. My sister and niece will love to have this book for sure as well. Sharing it. A good for beginning!

it explains about c++ but no application

this is not a how to book. it's talks about c++ not how to use it for a beginner or how to create something. it covers and has a good discussion about it with some outside knowledge

Not a good book to *listen* to.

I was hoping to get a bit of C++ Review for an upcoming exam, but this is definitely not a book to simply *listen* to. The narrator reads to code out loud, which is nice, but it would seem that no one informed him of the proper pronunciation of certain keywords in the C++ language.

It was actually a bit entertaining the first three times he read the keyword "cout" (which is pronounced "see-out" short for console out because it's printing the words to the console, or the screen). First he read it as "court" then "cow-t" then spelled it out "c o u t."

Also, the whole thing seems to not have been edited because there are a few spots where the narrator starts reading but I guess he felt he messed up and started the sentence over.

Overall, a bit unprofessional. Decent information, but not really enough to become a "boss" as advertised.
