    Simplistic Visualizations

    Any additional comments?

This is a set of 4 or 5 very short guided visualizations. It is not a hypnosis tape. It is only fair.

    Pretty much works as advertised

I bought this prior to deploying to Iraq intending to use it to help me get to sleep and to relax in my downtimes. I knew I wouldn't be downloading new stuff to my player while I was gone, and took a chance on this.

It lives up to its billing. It's not that long of a program. The narrator has a very relaxing voice and follows through the exercises very well. The music is a little subdued on the audio, not always a bad thing.

When I turn this on and follow the exercises, I'm usually asleep in fifteen minutes or less.

If you're looking for an inexpensive relaxation tape, this might work for you.

    Lives Up to It's Billing.

I highly recommend this "audiobook" which is in reality a series of relaxation exercises. It starts with "Moving Band" describing a band moving down the body carrying with it tension. It ends with the "Pencil Drop" exercise. The exercises are easy to follow and unlikely to offend fundamentalist Christians.

Well worth it!!! I LOVE this audible book!!!

I have been an insomniac pretty much my whole life. On a good night I will toss and turn for only half an hour before falling to sleep. Its not rare for me to lay in bed tossing and turning or reading for 1-3 hours before I can fall asleep. I saw the other reviews and thought it was worth trying and it is the best money ever spent for sleep!!!! It is not specifically to help you sleep, but to just be calm and kind of meditate. It tells you to get in a comfortable sitting position, but I use it at bedtime when I crawl into bed. I have not had it that long yet but I have tried it out now five times. The CD is a bit over 21 minutes long and I am so excited to say I have no idea how it ends as I have never made it that far!!! Last night I stayed up late listening to music and put this on to try and get some sleep for work today and even being a bit wound up, I fell asleep during exercise three. (There are four exercises on the program. I usually fall asleep during exercise two.) I have never been able to stay awake for the entire length of the CD. For those of you who have a hard time falling asleep, try it and you will see why I am so happy with this program!!!
