Publisher's summary

Summer has known Nick for years. His reputation around school is less than desirable, but when school starts, something is different. Nick is no longer with cheerleader Gina, but despite the rumor he cheated on her, Summer is finding herself falling for his charm. Is he really different, or he is still the same guy from the rumors of partying and failing classes?

Same characters, great new story!

What did you love best about Changed??

I loved that we got to see Nick again, and watch him grow.

What did you like best about this story?

My favorite thing was that Summer was strong and independent and her own girl. She was not JUST about Nick and liking him. She made up her mind and made him wait!

What does Brittany Morgan Williams bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her voice was great for this story

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Is Nick only changing to get the girl?

Any additional comments?

A fun book that was full of cute twists and chracters

Great follow-up

Okay, this was a great follow-up to the Nick side-plot from the last book.
Again, listened to this as an audio. I'm glad Nick could finally find his match. A very cute story. I loved it.

Same Characters, Much Different Plot

If you could sum up Changed? in three words, what would they be?

Unique, Cute, and Captivating. This book, along with all of Dana's grabbed my attention, and I'm not even a big contemporary fan!

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character altogether was Nick, as he was definitely not my favorite character in the first book, but his character development has been major, positive, and majorly positive.

Which character – as performed by Brittany Morgan Williams – was your favorite?

My favorite character when narrated was definitely Summer, and I know that reading it and not hearing emotions in her voice would have made me imagine Summer's character much different.

Another adorable story from Dana Burkey!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I probably wouldn't, but only because my friends are mostly football playing men in their 30s! (Probably not their kind of book)

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that Nick got to redeem himself after being a bit of a jerk in the last book, it was good to see a different side of him.

What does Brittany Morgan Williams bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It gives you a better feel for highschool life and the personalities you meet there

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely! Short and sweet

Any additional comments?

I'm so glad I'm not in highschool any more! It reminds me of the importance that rumours had and caring about what other people think of my relationships

Adorable story but issues with audio

I received a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.
Story: In Changed?, it was really interesting to see the aftermath of the "other guy" (Nick) from Just Pretending and learn more about his side of the story (especially concerning the issues that caused Cam to stop liking him in the first place). I loved how despite the fact this was not told in his POV, it covered different issues from the first book while also making Nick a likable character who I was really rooting for. While I wouldn't necessarily call him the antagonist of Just Pretending, for lack of a better term, I loved that this really showed how the antagonist is the protagonist of their own story and despite how things might seem on the surface, there is always more than one side to every story. Plus, I thought the friendship and subsequent romance between Nick and Summer was not only very sweet but I loved the deviation from that all too typical formula of drama = misunderstanding = break-up = get back together at the last possible second.

Performance: Honestly, there was a serious issue with the audio of this audiobook. For some reason, multiple times throughout the audiobook a sentence would be read and then immediately part or all of that sentence would be repeated. While this is something I could possibly have overlooked, at an hour, eighteen minutes, and forty-six seconds into the audiobook it had reached the end of the actual book and jumped back to just repeat the last fifty-two minutes and sixteen seconds as a "fourth chapter". This was not only incredibly confusing upon first hearing it and not knowing what was going on, as it is an audiobook, I was uncertain if there was more to the actual story that would play after the repeated portion (there was not) or if it had in fact ended and for some unfathomable reason it was decided that a good majority of the story would just be replayed. I do not know where this issue originated from but it really needs to be fixed.
