A new adventure for Charlie Bone

Charlie Bone and the Shadow is the seventh book in the Children of the Red King series. Count Harken is back to try to get revenge on the heirs of the Red King. His plot this time is to go back in time to get to Charlie before Charlie was ever born. It is up to Charlie to save his ancestor and save himself. Dad Bone and Mom Bone are not in this one as they go off on a second honeymoon, so no father son team up to squash the bad guy. Sorely missing are Emma and Olivia, the only real female characters. Emma has one scene and Olivia is not even in the story. For a series with better characters, strong female leads and more adventure, try Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches.
