Publisher's summary

Get a degree, get a job, save adorable foster siblings from the clutches of the evil foster mom... These are Jocylene Sanders' top priorities as she enters her sophomore year of college. The last thing she expects is to find herself the champion of an entire kingdom. However, that is just what happens when the mysterious faerie, Rothatin Longspear, appears to her, tasking her with saving a parallel world full of creatures from her wildest dreams.

Jocylene journeys with him into the world of Fallada, hoping for answers about her birth parents and background. What she finds is a mystifying past, and an even more uncertain future, as her heart becomes entangled with the stoic, battle-hardened Rothatin, as well as Eli, the untroubled Panther Shifter with no loyalties and no home. With her heart and soul pulled in so many directions, can Jocylene find the strength needed to become the savior one nation so desperately needs?

Jocelyn surpases everyones expectations

What did you love best about Child of the Sacred Earth?

I'm going to say I loved the whole book, but my absolute best thing is that Jocelyn is a strong character, she shines throughout.

Who was your favorite character and why?

This is a hard one... I have a few...
Adrah- she is so understanding & supportive of everyone, she's kind & cares about ALL the people in her care.
Jocelyn- I love her as a character, especially when she put's her foster siblings needs above her own.
Selena & Titas- absolutely loving how far they've come as a couple.
Rothatin- I can't wait to see what kind of growth he goes through, which started in Daughter of the Red Dawn, but is continuing still.

I'm sure I will have more to add to this list in the coming books of the series.

What about Kristina Klemetti’s performance did you like?

I loved Kristina Klemetti's accent's for all the characters within the book, I think she added more depth to everything happening within the book. I can't remember if when reading the book, if I cried or not... but I can honestly say the emotions hit me hard whilst listening to this.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I'm really bad at these taglines....

"You know the saying 'Never judge a book by it's cover'?? the same could be said about Jocelyn"

Any additional comments?

I absolutely LOVED everything about this narration, I'm hoping that Alicia Michaels has Kristina continue narrating for the entire series.

Child of the Sacred Earth

I LOVED this book and Kristina Klemetti is once again the perfect narrator! Jocelyn is Princess number two to be found. She and six other princess were rounded up and abandoned by a queen afraid of losing her power. She grew up in foster care with siblings she will not leave behind. Can she believe that she is a princess with Fae blood and destined to save the world?Through love, death and war,she will.

YES!!! I NEED #3 NOW!!!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Child of the Sacred Earth to be better than the print version?

Always is, but I only listened!

What other book might you compare Child of the Sacred Earth to and why?

I cant, I just cant...this series is a unique twist on fairy-tales...and they are very unique!

Which character – as performed by Kristina Klemetti – was your favorite?

Jocylene! She is just really trying to do her best, hard life, raised by a mean foster parent...and is always being worked into the ground....She is strong!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I dislike this question...but this series would make a good movie platform! I could see it becoming very popular!

Any additional comments?

** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **

I love this authors writing...under all her pen names...lol This series has me hooked...its so special, and magical...it is just such a creative concept and it keeps leaving me wanting more!

Jocylene is a young college girl, she is a foster child..and even thought he has aged out of the system her foster mother very begrudgingly lets her stay at home if she takes care of her foster brothers and sisters...Jocylene has a secret...she has powers, she can control the earth...and guess what? She is one of the lost princesses of Fallada...well of course someone has been sent to assassinate her and also save her...she fights back, and was doing pretty good...when her savior shows up..and basically has to kidnap her to get her to Fallada...she is very stubborn and wont go without the children....well she finds out she has made the right decision...even if it was forced..there is some romance...and I cant wait till book 3!!!

Another Winner from Alicia Michaels

This was a truly enjoyable story, a fantasy based on fairy tales. This is the second book of the series and has guaranteed that my pockets will be emptier when the 3rd book comes out in Audible. Way to go Alicia!
