Publisher's summary

Drakon: A mysterious continent of vast potential and incredible danger. Inhabited by the ancient, powerful dragons, the brave and sturdy Lizardfolk, and the cunning Kobolds, it is a land that offers much and demands even more.

It is this place that Jelly now arrives, eager to seek out fellow speech-capable Oozes. His excitement, however, is overshadowed by the turmoil that has draped across Drakon. Tensions between the human, elfish, and dwarfish colonists and the native scaled denizens has reached a peak, and conflict seems inevitable.

All the while, the dark forces that have pursued Jelly across the ocean now fan the flames of war, eager to incite chaos.

Can Jelly muster the willpower to save the two cultures, even if it means sacrificing the chance for a family?

Such a lovely story!

Amazing adventure I absolutely love the story! The little guy is going far into his grand adventure across the sea to seek his kind and a war that keeps our little hero fighting the evil that awaits him.

Interesting continuation.

Still fun, with plenty interesting new elements. I'm glad to see the 5th book has come out, and noticed how few reviews this one had. I certainly recommend continuing, particularly if I haven't edited this review to say otherwise after finishing the next book.

Enjoyable

As an ooz trying to find his place in this realm, he doent come across as a push over or butt kisser, but just a really good Jelly. I like him and his companions... It would be nice to have involvement of his school mates... but that is left to the spin off series that I look forward to.
I cant believe this is listed for age 12 and up... It should be listed for all ages.
This audible version is great, as i can tune out my wife, Boss, and irate customers.

It left little impression

This book left little impression on me. I remember the events, but I can't recall ever feeling interest or boredom or anything. It just managed to perfectly hit that medium where it was on the edge. The only thing I do recall is a lot of irritation at people and things being described as 'cute' rather than just being descriptive. Just insanely lazy writing done over and over again.

meh

the book keeps getting more and more fake. The resolutions of any conflicts are just so unrealistic that I lost interest multiple times.
