Story
The world has changed before our eyes. Adrift and lost, freedom comes at an exorbitant price, and only at the behest of a powerful few who control everything. In a future America, where citizens are forced to vacate the heartland and move to a handful of cities to keep the overtaxed power grid from imploding, and where criminals undergo brain implants rather than serve time behind bars, a few belligerent patriots refuse to comply. Survival expert Elijah Stryker is one of the few holdouts. Stryker scrabbles for sustenance in a region called the Forbidden Zone, a rugged frontier that’s home...

Having escaped the Chicagoland area only to be pushed farther south by the territorial demands of other survivors, John and his family are desperate to find some semblance of the world they once knew. So when they stumble across a small farm in rural Georgia, inhabited by a ...

Story
Elizabeth Foster is a software and robotic engineer. Inquisitive and analytical, she earned herself a lead position at a construction company building 3D printed homes. Every morning before work, she meets at The Agora coffee house with her long time friends Sebastian, a physician, and Xavier, a former sergeant turned history teacher. Each friend brings a unique perspective to the conversations. Lately their discussions seem to revolve around the proper place for AI in human society, a topic more apt than they realize.

In mid-21st century America – over-populated cities harbor ordinary citizens who are oppressed by money manipulators, drug pushers and daily violence. And beyond the cities lay vast wastelands of chemically polluted regions teaming with outlaws and mutants. Law enforcement, as it has always been, is seemingly on the brink of collapse against the ever increasing tide of lawlessness, corrupt political officials, and a system that favors the criminal and not the victims. However U.S. Justice Marshal Thomas Jefferson Cade is one of a new breed of law enforcers. Teamed with his Cyborg partner,...

It was ok.
Computer voicing made it lack passion and excitement. The story was interesting. But, lack of emotion really hindered it. I did like the christian aspects. Prayer in a story was kinda cool.
