Excellent Resource For Mental Health

This audiobook does a wonderful job of helping you positively change your thoughts, feelings, and actions.

It will show you how to improve your self-esteem, change limiting beliefs, communicate better with the people in your life, and optimize your mindset to live a healthier and happier life.

I gained a high level of awareness about myself and my thoughts going through these exercises.

This book has the power to change lives!

Great Resource for Better Understanding

CBT can be a very daunting and often misunderstood topic. The author did a great job of breaking out what CBT is, it's benefits, and of course, the workbook to implement the skills learned within. I enjoyed learning in the book and even took away a few new pieces of information.

Becoming the best version of ourselves...

Thanks, Alivia, for this interesting and very informative audiobook. Agree with you that the first step to really knowing ourselves is to seek professional help (psychotherapists or a psychologist), but at the same time, CBT seems to be a very interesting way to help us to become the best version of ourselves by applying all the tips and learning the skills that you proposed in the book.
I recommend this book to everyone.

This is nice

My girlfriend has been having a lot of anxiety for a very long time, so I thought this would be a good audiobook for me to listen to be able to help her. I have learned a lot about how I can improve anxiety and I am definitely going to try to help her a lot now. This audiobook is great with a lot of valuable tips, thanks!

Good for anyone who is struggling

This book is excellent in explaining and helping anyone who is struggling to understand better the thought patterns they have to derail them and why they need to be conscious of them. The intrusive thoughts and beliefs we generate about events in our lives can have a lasting impact. this workbook will allow individuals to work on themselves while not in the direct care of a therapist. It won't replace therapy, but it has wonderful tools for you to use to be able to keep moving forward while awaiting your next appointment. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has suffered in their lives at any time.

I am always thrilled to learn knew skills. Especially now with some kind of disturbances in my neighbourhood, this book has really introduced some new skills I can implement to reduce anxety.
I like the structure of the book and I assimilate what I need from the book, when I need it.

Stop overthinking and start living

The challenge with many self-help and personal development books is that they just pile on more theory and contribute to rumination and overthinking. In contrast, Alivia Stephens' book cuts straight to the practical, evidence-based tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and inspires you to take action. Be prepared to take notes and take accountability. This book will light a fire under you and guide you out of your mental rut. Training your mind to think

I have heard about CBT from many of my graduate school friends who studied psychology. After listening to this book, I can see why it is a valuable tool to help people change their core beliefs and course of action. This book contains many useful strategies for you to try and see what works best for you from cognitive restructuring, mindfulness practice, journaling, anchoring, and many more. Many of the chapters come with exercises for you to do. I like the chapter on cognitive distortions a lot as I can relate to some of the examples and see how this line of thinking can be destructive. The exercises in the book also helps you understand the concepts better.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

This book covers many important aspects that consider the most common problems nowadays, starting from anxiety which almost 40% of Americans are anxious and that affects in one way or another all their lives, I was not aware of CBT therapy myself and the book explains it in a clear way and this can help enormous numbers to feel more confident and depression free. I highly recommend this book.

Awesome resource

I’ve struggled to deal with family member and meet them where they need me. This book opened my eyes to how I can be better in this area. Great that the author included the pdf for me. Now I can use the techniques and new understanding to make the quality time better with loved ones on this position.
