Chapters missing?

Great book, good plot, well-written and well-narrated. But somehow there's quite a bit of "something" missing between Part 1 and Part 2. I even downloaded it again to see if that would help. Not sure what the problem is, but be aware that it feels like a chapter or two has gone missing in this mystery.

Not for the faint of heart

This is another very dark and graphic novel about a serial killer. It has a companion book 'Hot Blooded' which is this first book. Lisa Jackson writes some steamy romance thrillers but this is just a thriller like the first book. I liked them but again they are both quite dark and you need to like that for me to recommend this book. The narrator is ok but she does have an annoying swallow frequently. I really don't know how they eliminate that , but you usually don't hear it thank goodness. The narration is fine.

captivating story beginning to end

I love this book, the 1st one also but this made even more impact the characters, the villan and his crazy ways the whole time I couldn't wait to hear what happened next, even speaking out loud a couple times a No, no, no or a Yes, yes, yes!

loved this book and it made me cry, and kept me interested and I couldn't wait to figure out who the killer was

Unable to stop

WOW! Every time I thought I figured out who the killer was I would change to someone else in the next chapter. I couldn't stop listening and even caught myself getting up wide awake in the middle of the night to continue listening !

I loved the story line over all but the Narrator's voice was a bit lifeless

I enjoyed the book. It had a good story. She looks for a good story and is not afraid to write about it.

Chapters are out of order.

This book was very good. The only problem I had with it was when I got to part 2, the chapters were out of order. I listened for a while thinking I had missed something, but when I got to the end of the book and there were still 3 hours left, I realized the chapters were off. I'm now listening to the missing chapters, which are out of order also. I have to keep flipping around to find the right order. It's not easy.

Kept me up till I finished!! Fantastic reader.. Some cliches if you read a lot of true crime but very good.

A decent story with minor irritations

This book has a compelling plot line that keeps you guessing as to who the culprit will be out of quite a few possible suspects. Two things that irritated me: (1) The author always lets you know precisely what’s going on with a character’s genitalia whether it adds anything to the story or not. For the female characters, all the talk about how their chests look feels very objectifying. (2) You can hear the reader swallow/take a drink at various points, which is like nails on a chalkboard.
