Where. Is. The. Sequel!!!!

I loved this book. I took the long way home just to be able to listen to it 30 minutes more per day. I even drive the speed limit.

Now it's over. I've been furiously combing the Internet and any Andrew S. Ball site I can find to figure out then it will be released. I've come up with nothing definitive and I want to scream.

I hate the idea of Black Friday. However, I like this book so much that if it were a Black Friday item, I'd drop a WWE elbow on a petite soccer mom just to get the last copy.

And Luke Daniels as the narrator just made this even more fabulous. That man can narrate IKEA instructions and make them bearable.

I honestly only gave this book s glance because I was trying to fill in my time until the next Iron Druid book (another Luke Daniels narration that you MUST read if you have not) was released. I thought I'd hate it because the reviews kept calling it "young adult". I'm so friggin' glad I gave this book a shot.

Five stars all around.

Surprisingly good

I was more than pleasantly surprised by this book. I thought it would be campy, or juvenile. It was instead thoughtful with well developed characters showing good growth, an interesting and quite unique story and plenty of suspense. I was sad that it came to an end and I'm now looking forward to the sequel. I recommend it it's a well spent credit

The twits and turns are amazing! The second book is another amazing book! Truly looking forward the the third and hopefully soon!

Excellent performance, decent story.

I'm sure like many others, I came across this book because of Luke Daniels as the narrator. As always he's exceptional and his portrayal of the characters greatly adds to the experience. As for the story it was enjoyable and I listened to it pretty quickly. It seems to be right on the border of adult and YA fiction; not too complicated but not exactly juvenile either. Some of the story was a little predictable and a bit far fetched in relation to the hero of the story especially his wit/charm/intelligence. He had it all of course. Overall it was well written and had a satisfying ending. I will likely purchase the next book when it comes out.

Multiple Listens

Love the blend of sci-fi and fantasy elements. Andrew has a keen grasp on the language and while detailed in description does not lose my interest after multiple replays. As always, Luke Performs excellently. I strongly look forward to the sequel when Andrew finishes school. Hopefully his career won't keep him away from his pen too much.

This book was amazing

Book is good. Really good. The MC is great. He is intelligent and he also cares to an extent. He found love, but you can see what is happening. Also there is probably going to be a revenge story coming bc he deserves it. Lol

fun listening

I felt that this was a great book. excellent performance. interesting characters. I loved the author's view of a multi verse and the blending of religious concepts like rebirth/renewal with concepts like the "heat death of the universe" very exciting ideas.

Surprisingly good

I’m no stranger to the tropes this book uses, and they are many. Despite that, it’s still quite good and enjoyable. There were some cringeworthy parts, overused stereotypes galore and nothing particularly surprising happened. Yet… I still enjoyed it. A lot. This is AAA top-notch mediocrity. The performance didn’t hurt that’s for sure. I bought the second book in the series before I even finished this one; and that’s rare for me to do. That means the whole series has me excited.
