I was irritated throughout this book. Alexis is so judgmental, deceptive and condescending. I really wanted to like Alexis but she just makes so many bad decisions. Let’s hope she gets it together.

loved it

always kept me intense, looking forward to each chapter. loved the story. cant wait to start the 2nd book.

Good story not so good narration

This could have been so much more and better with better narration.I liked the story not the audiobook

Great Start

Story started off great! Then it took a turn and lost me. It was hard to complete the book and the male narrator voice was fitting for the character but it seemed like he was merely reading I'm thinking he was new at it so I was able to just listen. Female narrator was great.

Pure Fire

Let me start out by saying that I LOVE dark mafia/cartel/bratva stories.

However, I am not a fan of immediately adding a baby into the mix. It just strikes me as being a literary crutch for the lack of a storyline that some authors have a problem developing because they just want to get to the sexy parts of the story.

With that being said, the only reason I read this book is because I absolutely LOVE the author. She is one of my favorites And I will read anything and everything that she writes. I am so glad that I decided to purchase this book.

The male protagonist in this story is unbelievably sexy. The female protagonist is a little irritating. There are times throughout the book where you just want to grab her and shake her. However, don’t let that dissuade you from reading this book because she gets better. Lol

I love the storyline. Read this book. Another home run for the author.

As a sidenote to the author… my OCD self had an issue with this man living in a big beautiful mansion with manicured lawns, but he had a gravel driveway. ROTFL.

Loved it!

Great storyline but male narrator was awful. Female was great but it was hard to listen to.

The story was good but the FMC made me so mad. I don’t understand why she did so much to put herself and her baby in danger

Hated the girl character

Omg this female character was annoying. All the nice thing this guy did for her no matter how bad he was and she was more worried about writing a story no loyalty

Captivating!

This was one of those books that was hard to put down. I ended up finishing listening/ reading the whole series in a little less then 3 days. This book definitely brought on the emotions. Emotions of anger, embarrassment, joy, suspense and everything in between. Definitely a good series to get into if you have a long drive ahead of you or you have a to do list to get done and would rather listen to an audiobook verse music. The author did a great job describing the characters and I look forward to seeing what other books she has available.

I liked it. The story

I liked the story. I the male leads voice had to grow on me and it did. I’m glad I keep listening. It sends I a cliffhanger but I am excited to see what happens next.
