Tonight, we’re going to Charlottesville, VA to cover a lesser known dumbass named Jesse Matthew, aka The Back To School Killer. This hulk of a man was a serial rapist, and very likely a serial killer too. He has been convicted of 2 murders, and 3 rapes, but he is suspected in MANY more. And, he got away with it for a while, until he graduated with honors from the BTK school of laying low. He literally went into the police station, and introduced himself.

He would show up in college towns around the beginning of the fall semester, when a new crop of students who didn’t yet know the lay of the land were arriving. This is a very interesting case, with lots of great police work at the end, when this guy finally went down. Bill is joined by Mark of Mental Illness Theater, and this was an awesome episode.

Tonight, we’re heading to Texas! We’re covering a lesser known serial killer. Faryion Wardrip got away with murder and rape for a long time. He was a hardcore drunk and a druggie, and he was baked when he killed people. He was convicted and sent to prison for one murder, and then was stupidly released. But, he had cleaned up, and he moved away, started living legit. Except, he had killed 4 other people, and one of his murders had been blamed on the victim’s husband. But, this is another case where DNA came back to bite a scumbag in the butt. DNA, and some brilliant police work. This was a very interesting and fun case. Ricky Kasso, aka The Acid Kingwas a troubled teenager, who had a rough childhood, and got into drugs. Big time. This story takes place n Northport, on Long Island, NY in 1984. It was a case that fueled the Satanic Panic because he ran with a group of kids who used Satan as a way to scare people. Although Ricky in his drug riddled mind thought Satan was talking to him.

A friend of his stole some drugs from him, and he and another friend lured him into the woods, and brutally murdered him. The media, all too eager to capitalize on the Satanic Panic lumped heavy metal, and anyone who listened to it in with the blame for the case. In fact it was this case where the AC/DC meaning Anti Christ Devil’s Children originated from because Ricky was wearing an AC/DC shirt when her was arrested.
