Americans wage many of today’s fiercest policy debates and culture wars over constitutional meaning. It’s because constitutional law is so fundamental to our democracy that law schools across the country teach the subject. It's the area of law that determines what federal and state governments are permitted to do, and what rights you have as an individual citizen of the US. Here, you'll get the same accessible, well-rounded introduction to constitutional law as a typical law student - but with the added benefit of noted constitutional scholar Eric Berger's brilliant insights.

Cues and Signals gives you details on every objection that has been recognized in federal courts and sorts out the high-payoff objections from those of lower priority for both oral testimony and exhibits. Everything you need on objections is in one audiobook.

To trace the history of the twenty-first century so far is to trace a history of unaffordability and shortage. After years of refusing to build sufficient housing, America has a national housing crisis. After years of limiting immigration, we don’t have enough workers. Despite decades of being warned about the consequences of climate change, we haven’t built anything close to the clean-energy infrastructure we need. Ambitious public projects are finished late and over budget—if they are ever finished at all.

But, as with many of the Constitution’s powers, the experiences of the colonists at the hands of the British shaped our legal system’s criminal procedure laws.

Knowing the technical bases for objections is not so difficult. Law school covers that. What is much harder is recognizing a good objection very quickly when your opponent puts a question to a witness or starts using a document. Cues and Signals gives you details on every objection that has been recognized in federal courts and sorts out the high-payoff objections from those of lower priority for both oral testimony and exhibits. Everything you need on objections is in one audiobook.

Just one thing
The only problem I really had was that sometimes there was no explanation for why an answer was wrong. Other than that, my biggest complaint was that the piano notes between chapters was WAY too loud and jarring. It’s an unnecessary noise, silence between chapters is much more favorable.

Excellent substantive review!
I would recommend this audio review to anyone that would classify themselves as an audio leaner because the rules of law that are used are conveyed in a clear and concise manner. Most importantly, the examples are good in assisting to help you understand how the law is being applied to the facts prescribed. Also, the summary recap after every scenario is awesome.

Great refresher and love the bonus questions
I have several of the law outlines to shake several years of law school dust off before giving the bar another try. Great supplement for bar prep but no replacement for the very subtle nuance the bar prep material can get into.
Loved having the bonus questions at the end to test my skills. one thing I found useful was slowing the speed to 0.7, takes long but I feel like it better that way.
Would be great if they made for evidence and some other subjects they haven't touched yet.
