I have never ever loved a book more than this. If I wasnt reading it I was listening to it. Listened 2 it 3 times over and each time it becomes more special

A new game is a foot

This is my first Kel Carpenter book and man, what a doozie. I loved the characters. This story is a mishmash of crazy things; exciting things! Supernatural teenagers. Family drama. High school angst. And…. Fighting. Haha.

Selena is a powerful, sort of selfish, out of control girl who doesn’t Lebowski to handle her temper and ability. She’s a bomb waiting to go off. And the academy is her last resort. The last place she may have a chance to get her life under control.

Boxing may be just the outlet she needs to get the building emotions and powers in the bag. And for a time it works. Boxing allows her to work it off. Plus kicking butts is always fun. Add to that a hunky, southern boy, who not only understands her, but tries to help her.

Lucas is her saving grace. Her new best friend and the reason she may walk away from the bad things coming her way. And boy howdy, those troubles are coming in hot with both barres ready to go.

Bring on book 2!

Absolutely amazing complete box set

This was a very engrossing series. The family relationship, the magic, and Mystery. The characters show so much growth through the series and I love the development of the relationships as well. Once you start you are going to want to read till the end just so you know what happens. Academy, magic, a curse, fated mates

Enjoyed the book.

Fun and exciting story.. Characters come to live in the book.. The main character was a little whiny but she does get better. Overall I enjoyed series and look forward to the next Box set. Narrator was very good.

I would love a spin off series. Within these characters you could do so much more with it. Love this set ! Thanks for creating a wonderful world of paranormal adventure and excitement!

Engaging storyline

Definitely a different take on vampire demon, supernatural so not as predictable as some.
The only “complaint“ I might have is the age of the main characters doesn’t match the story line. The maturity level, relationship types, decisions, leadership and responsibilities are more in line with a character around 25 instead of 16 or 17.

Excellent listen

These books give a new take on paranormal and I loved it! The speaker does a great job of different characters and I never had to try and figure out who was who. Stacy did a fantastic job interpreting the author’s books. I didn’t want it to end. Overall fantastic job. I’ll listen to this series again!

Good story with a new storyline

I got the complete set and was not disappointed. The story ran from each book to the next and went the extra mile to wrap up at the end. I’ve recommended to several others to take a listen. Definitely worth the time.
