Publisher's summary

Following the release of the fifth instalment in the Robert Langdon series, Dan Brown talks to Audible about his long-standing passion for music and modern art and how it contributed towards the creation of Origin.

In Origin, listeners will be reunited with the amiable and courageous Robert Langdon as he travels around Spain in search of answers to the most important existential questions of our time.

In keeping with the series, Origin is a fascinating study of and commentary on the importance of science, religion and art in determining who we are and how we came to be. For the first time, however, and departing somewhat from tradition, the Professor will be looking into cutting-edge modern-day pieces and technology.

We also talk to Dan about why Spain was the right setting for this book and how he was inspired by Gregory W. Brown's composition Missa Charles Darwin.

very insightful

it's a pleasure to see this side of mr. Brown and gives me an idea of this Cadence in his speech and helps me dope deeper into his books. It's also nice to know that he too is an audio listener and that he enjoys symbolism as much as I do :-)

Nice little interview

Entertaining and insightful, despite the very short duration. I have yet to read Origin, but have read the others books in the Langdon series. I have all ways marveled in the amount of research and care that Dan Brown puts into his work.

Interesting Interview

Wonderful review with noted author Dan Brown on his new book Origin. Discusses his extensive research and discovery of modern art. Interesting to note to how he puts Robert Langdon in a fish out of water scenario.
