Yikes

The narration, with poorly executed Indian accents, does not help the story make it sound like the author learned much introspective insight in their experience. I regret the purchase. I admittedly did not finish it as it was painful to listen to both in sound and content. My final straw was the definition of dharma to include the caste system with no reflection on the historical context and alternate views. It's not my job to educate and I digress to that point. However the book misses its mark and felt exploitative, even with the shallow reflections by the author. Maybe the end of the book shows great insight but I'll never make it that far. That would require me ignoring my skin crawling response to everything thus far.
