I really like the read.

I like how all the caricatures interlock. Interesting how after a thousand years sentiments change. The Gods are surely plotting.

Love Immortals After Dark!

The whole series is awesome and Robert Petkoff as the narrator makes each character come alive! Cade and Holly (main characters in this book) are among my favorites in the series! You can’t go wrong with any of the IAD books!

My second favorite IAD book. Narration was awesome

Ok. Believe the hype about Robert Petkoff. I didn't, but I do now! He was awesome, he was funny, he breathed life into this book!

Cadeon Woede is on a quest to help recover a mystical sword which was crafted to kill a specific immortal, who stole Cadeon's brother Rydstroms kingdom.
Everyone blames Cadeon's for the loss and he has spent the last 900 years trying to atone.
Imagine Cadeon's dilemma when he learns the price for the sword is his fated female Holly Ashwin. To get his Rydstrom's kingdom back, he would have to trade his female for the sword. What's a demon to do?

This was one of the most straightforward IAD books I've listened to in a while. I wasn't confused by many various characters in the Lore, as this was mostly Demon and a Harpy, with special appearances by a few other sups, but not enough to need a diagram.
Cadeon was funny, sarcastic, rough around the edges and sweet at the same time. Holly's OCD made for an interesting read, but I loved how everyone made allowances and worked with her quirks. I really loved how Holly said she finally found a place where she fit in, and she also discovered her inner strength. She took everything that Cadeon's taught her and fought to save herself.
Very impressed with her...and Cadeon.

I look forward to finding out why Rydstrom has That Woman in chains:D

Robert Petkoff is the best narrator ever!

Petkoff needs to do ALL of the romance books ever written! He is so good. This series is one of the best paranormal romance series, and he just puts icing on the cake. I can't wait for the rest of them!

I love these books!

These books are great Kresley Cole is a very good author her characters are hilarious and extremely interesting. There have been lots of moments in these books where I've burst into laughter. My family always looks at me as if I have grown 2 heads, but its worth it. I check for more every month and have bought all available audio books, and can't wait for the rest. I've enjoyed them enough that I also own the Kindle additions so I could find out what happens next. I really hope she continues with the series and poor Nucking Futs Nix finds herself a man and a little sanity.

I normally don't go for male narrators, but Robert Petkoff has done a good job with these books.

My FAVORITE in the series so far!

I agree with the other reviews! This book is brilliant, funny, sexy and keeps you hanging on the edge of your seat. As with all Ms. Cole's male characters, Cadeon has you on the tight rope of loving him, feeling sorry for him while at the same time wanting to knock his head off in moments. This book made me laugh out loud a few times and the more I read in the series the more I love revisiting the lore. It is like hanging out with old friends for 10+ hours. I am so glad that Audible has started filling in the blanks within this series!!!

If you are a PNR listner, you can't go wrong with Kresley Cole. She is one of the best. I would recommend that you start at the begining of the series so that you can form the wonderful attachments within this world.

Roberft Petkoff is truly becoming my favorite narrator and as the voice of this series, he does the author's work proud. Keep in mind that this is a male narrator and it takes a bit to get used to his female voices. However, I have been listening to him since the beginning and feel that his female voices are just as unique and wonderful as the male voices.

If you are new to this author, she is every bit as good as Gena Showalter or J.R. Ward.

This series is worth credits, cash...whatever you got! JUST GET IT! You will not be disappointed!

AT THE TOP of the rank! These books are SO WELL DONE! I could listen to them for days and days. I have listened to every Kresley Cole book available on audible.com. They get better with every book. I SO LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!

What did you like best about this story?

I love how Holly and Cade evolved as characters. What an amazing story! I LOVE IT! I want to be a valkyrie :)

What does Robert Petkoff bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voices are AMAZING!~ they are so unique to each character and you can just live out the story in your head with his voice. I cannot imagine anyone else's voice!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I would not do that!

This series and all Kressley Cole books are AMAZING! I love the characters, the settings, the stories and all the supernatural and paranormal beings I meet. I cannot wait for the next book to come out! Thank you Audible!!
