Very fun and relaxing book.

This is mainly a romance novel. It is a good listen. The climax of the book is meh/mid. I really enjoyed it regardless.

Not bad at all.

Not deep and or moving, but a light easy listen. Not too light and with just the right amount of slice of life in a fantasy world. I'd listen to a sequel.

Worth the listen I enjoyed the slice-of-life portion especially, I am buying the second book now. :)

Incredible narration and book

My favorite book in a long while. I enjoyed the story and the narrators took it to greater heights.

It was wonderful.

I must say, this was refreshing. I get buyers remorse when I purchase, and then invest my time in a long series, only to get side blinded on the second to last book of an 8 book series by queer characters and their sex lives taking over a good story. Any sexual is off putting. Also, I have audiobooks where the main characters are queer. It's just their sexuality isn't the plot of the fantasy.
I want lose myself in the world, the characters, and their lives. This book does a good job. I hope the other books in this series follow the same format of adventure.
Like I said, this is refreshing.

A delightful story.

If you were looking for a clone of Battle Mage Farmer or Beware of Chicken, this isn't quite that. To be clear, that was what I hoped for going in on this one. What I got was a heartwarming and delightful story. If you are looking for a nice slice of life in a fantasy world story, this is a good place to start.

Surprisingly good

I was flabbergasted by how good this was. Very clear heavy influences from Stardew Valley in the LitRPG part. The plot was way better than I was expecting from a slice of life.

Good slice of life book

One of my first slice of life audible I’ve had it on the back burner since it came out and I’m glad I decided to give it a chance it was really good and as of writing this book 2 comes out tomorrow. I am excited for it.

A lovely slice of life with a wonderful performance.

I needed to step away from heavier doom and gloom Litrpgs that I normally listen to. This was perfect breath of fresh air. Many have commented on the writing and it’s great, but the voice actors also did a wonderful job of making each character separate and memorable and should be noted.

"This isn't Minnesota"

This is a great listen, don't know why that line was so funny to me.
