About this listen
The fight to level fifty has changed Marcus and his party. Now Marcus will have to figure out his new skills all the while fighting for the freedom of the continent. Promoted without a choice, the fledgling god will have to relearn everything that he has become accustomed to. Vulnerable to damage that he used to laugh off, and without his most important skill, will the party be able to keep him alive, let alone clean. But the war will not wait for him. With Dark's domain as the next target for the demon's, Marcus must travel quickly to enter the harsh environment.
Volcanoes spew ash over the country, blocking out the sun, and making a forsaken landscape.
And between battling giants, and fighting off lava monsters, he still needs to worry about Nala.
The guard that has changed sides.
When will she make her appearance as Void's Champion? Will she wait until Marcus gains a little power and understanding of his new skills? Or will she strike when he is least expecting it? Torn between his bond with Nala, and the fact she is now an enemy, he will need to decide if killing her is the right path.
But can he act in that capacity? Can he really bring an end to someone that he relied so heavily on? Or will he save her, and give her the chance to join his side once again?Marcus has a lot to figure out in the next part of his journey.
And with Mavis refusing to leave his side, he's going to learn that her past shares some similarities with his new life.
Some similarities that have been buried deep and hidden.
Marcus must succeed in Dark's domain.
Victory is close, and the world is relying on the Voice to pull off the impossible.
Let's just hope his trauma doesn't hold him back.
