If you could sum up Dead Until Dark in three words, what would they be?
I am addicted
What was one of the most memorable moments of Dead Until Dark?
I love sookies spunk but when Eric Northman summons Bill and Sookie back to fangtasia you get a feeling like she may show him just how spunky she is

Yes. It expresses a southern viewpoint in an abstract fashion.

Generally disappointing.
Compared to the author's other series that I have read--Aurora Teagarden, Midnight, Texas, and Harper Connelly--this beginning book is very disappointing. Loads of sex and not much mystery. I don't expect to continue with it.

Good story with okay-ish narration
I am about half way through with this book and I really like the story, but the narration is lacking. I typically like male narrators better because it seems they can do a wider range of voices. The main female character's voice is fantastic, but all the men have the same droning voice. The main male character, Bill, is supposed to be a hunky vampire, but his voice does not match that. I will continue to listen to this book, and most likely purchase the others in the series because I do enjoy the story and I have a lot of traveling coming up and like to listen in my car. I do think I would enjoy this series more if I were reading the books instead of listening.
