Publisher's summary

The United States' top assassin Brady Hawk returns to attack a covert operation that's funding the terrorist group Al Hasib.

Deep in the jungles of Sierra Leone, Sefadu Holdings is making a mint by funneling diamonds to Al Hasib in order to fund its terrorist operation. However, when the secret black ops group Firestorm learns about it, Hawk is dispatched to squash the illegal dealings.

While Hawk is battling nefarious forces abroad, his handler Alex Duncan is dealing with her own issues, including making sure that Firestorm director J.D. Blunt is safe from an attack on his life.

As Hawk goes deep under cover, he must figure out a way to stop Al Hasib from getting the diamonds while Duncan fights for her life and the black ops program she believes in.

But when everything starts to unravel, Hawk must find a way to keep it together on both continents or risk losing everything.

Hoped for a different ending

I received this book free for an honest review. Hawk gets into some interesting predicaments. And has burning questions that he searches to find answers for--not in this book. He is a complex character and I can't wait to read more of him.

Excellent

Is Hawk in this Op's Firestorm, to get rid of situations, or to uncover who is father is ? This is another powerful, to the end about Hawk's mission, Senator Blunt has a situation brewing in Sierra Leone, missiles need to be retrieved. Do this I will tell you more about your father, giving him a name now. Alex a former CIA. tries to get into THE VAULT., files are empty, with that name. She's an operator behind the scene, hired also by Blunt. Who are the good guys. CIA director Simon Coker he profits from the war. Sudden death, of the senator, brings a tidal wave of bitterness, for Hawk.
Given audio to review, and give my honest opinion.

Amazing

As usual any Brady Hawk story is great. There are diamonds used to fund Al Hasib's terrorist group in the jungles of Sierra Leone. After Firestorm finds out they send Brady to stop this. Plenty of action and suspense and fantastic to listen to.

Who do you trust when you can't trust anyone?

Hawke and Alex have a mission to find stolen nukes and stop smuggling. The mission goes sideways when his cover is blown and Alex gets caught where she isn't supposed to be, trying to get information she isn't supposed to know.

Not as bad as first one but not by much

I will not be continuing with this series. There is no depth to any of the characters or the story.
