Great find!!
I’m Russian living in the U.S. for the last 25 years. This book was a Time Machine that took me back to my early years in Russia. I couldn’t stop listening until I finished: The story, the narration, the music- everything was on point. Greatly enjoyed; highly recommended, especially if you are familiar with the topic.

Interesting
Time really flew while listening.
I found this book/podcast very captivating and I just couldn’t stop listening.

Lucky, opportunistic, and ruthless.
Well sourced and produced, and a fairly short listen. His rise was so improbable, as a rather unremarkable figure, who nearly became cab twice in the 1990s Sadly, he did attach himself to some flawed, but successful politicians, with one foot in the underworld. Many good Russian people have been silenced or killed trying to expose or oppose him.

This guy is freaking scary
The team who put this show together did a fantastic job. I commend them for their work …and bravery. Everyone should learn about the history of the Deputy Mayor. The world needs to know who is behind those decisions coming from Moscow.
