Sweet, Charming, and So Easy to Fall Into!

Destiny Laughs by Leslie Pike is such a heartwarming, realistic romance that completely pulled me in from the first chapter. It’s the kind of story that feels like a warm hug, charming, emotional, and full of heart. I devoured it in one sitting!

We have Nash, a single dad and devoted veterinarian, and Farrah, who’s learning to live for herself again after years of caring for her ill parents. Their connection is instant, but it’s also layered with real emotion and healing, making their love story all the more beautiful. And yes, there’s a touch of spice sprinkled throughout, just enough to turn up the heat.

The audiobook narration was fantastic. Lucy Rivers is a favorite of mine, she never misses, and this was no exception. This was my first time hearing Lee Samuels, and I was impressed. He captured Nash’s essence so well, strong, steady, and tender when it counts.

If you love fast-listen romances with depth, connection, a little heat, and a lot of heart, definitely give this one a try—especially in audio!

Lucy brings Farrah to life with just the right amount of vulnerability, portraying a woman trying to stay strong while feeling lost. Lee gives Nash that protective, swoon-worthy edge that makes him impossible not to fall for. He’s gentle, grounded, and not afraid to fall fast and hard.
Leslie Pike is a master of packing big heart into short listens, and Desting Laughs is no exception. It’s tender, character-driven, and laced with just the right amount of spice and angst to keep your heart full of all the feels!

This audiobook was short, sweet, and steamy, and the narrators did an amazing job. Can’t wait for the next one!
