Suspense Story

The story is so intense and full of suspense. The author- E.M.G. Wixley, put the storyline in a gradual phasing/development so that the readers will be fully engrossed in the suspense and thrill scenes.
The book's overall theme reflects the day-to-day life experiences of people in the family and community. One particular character I like most is Angelica. She was portrayed as a woman/mother with solid determination and the goal that her son will get back to normality.
The thrill and suspense were highlighted by how the narrator projected his voice coupled with well-chosen backgrounds. Very well narrated by Nigel Peever. I highly recommend this book.

Great Series

Excellently written and performed, the book expands upon the story of the first book adding context to the events of the first whilst maintaining the dark and forbidding atmosphere.
Nigel Peever once again brings a story to life with his engaging reading. The characters are vivid in the listener's mind through his interpretation, and his calm and measured narration keeps the listener reassured.

This series is creepy and dark! WARNING do not listen alone. it keeps you hanging on and wanting more. Good luck friends and you better hope you are not a witch!

Good Book!

i liked this book but it was a little bit hard to follow at some points, it was a great story but between this book and the previous there were alot of characters to follow and alot happening so following along often took a bit of rewinding. It doesnt detract from the overall book much however. The narration was better then the previous installment but it utilized an errie music that made my stomach turn,not that it didnt add layers to the story but some people maybe turned off to those types of effects. Overall if youve been a fan of the series you wont be disappointed by this installment!

Loved the first two books and was excited for the third. It did not dissapoint. The tale just keeps getting more and more interesting. E.M.G has done another amazing job with this third book. I am hoping for a fourth asap. There was no lull and it always kept me wanting more and wondering what would happen. One of my favorite series by far.

Great listen....I could not put it down..I listen mostly while driving ...but could not wait to see what happen next so..I listened till I finished it..The only negative thing I have to say....I can't wait for the next book...I hope it will not be a year..And of course Nigel Peever is an excellent Narrator!!

Great Series!

I always enjoy a good thriller and this is entire series is nonstop intrigue and suspense. There was many points I didn't know who was good or bad or even who I Iiked. And the creepy doll thing was eerie from book 1 and I loved it.
There's a lot of players and characters some who are completely despicable. EMG Wixley does a fantastic job building the characters and plot twists. I didn't expect the end and I see the possibility of another in the future or even a spin-off series.
Nigel Peever didn't disappoint either; the voices and sound effects work very effectively to add intensity to the story!

A little confusing but interesting tale

Well this last one, redeemed the second one a little, was less over the place for me.

After getting used to Nigel voice it's not that bad, that helped a lot in my case.

One thing I absolutely love was the sound effects, those captivated me everytime, specially the crows it was fun.

For me this one was pretty interesting, a little weird yes but what reality isn't.

Sometimes I found it a little complicated the plot but the other times was pretty easy to follow.

The characters as usual complex and a little confusing but very human like in their decisions.
