One of the major difficulties in witnessing to Mormons is that they speak a unique language. Not only have they coined numerous words and expressions unique to Mormonism, they have also given unique definitions to commonly used words and expressions. Some have called this language “Mormonese.” This dictionary is an attempt to help the non-Mormon understand “Mormonese.” It will be important to keep in mind that the definition given is not the biblical or Christian definition, but the LDS definition. This is a condensed version of the dictionary printed in the book, Speaking the Truth in Love to Mormons. The book is a useful tool in understanding the differences between Christianity and Mormonism. It provides many examples and teaches you how to reach Mormons with the true love of God. The Mormon lexicon

The author, a non Mormon, adequately lists LDS terminology. However, the author fails spectacularly at defining LDS concepts. He oversimplified some concepts and gets others dead wrong. For example, he repeats the anti-Mormon trope, that Mormons, are "repulsed" by the Cross, frankly that is not true. In fact, some Mormons do where crosses and are not discouraged from doing so.
Another falsehood is that Mormons rely on their feelings, a burning in their bosoms to know if something is true. The author distorts the truth again, he knows the way by which Latter-day Saint's have been taught to recognize if something is true is through the witness and power of the Holy Ghost. Gaining a witness from the Spirit manifests itself to you thereby touching your mind and yes, your feelings. It causes a burning within you which testifies of the truth.
All and all, the Book is 50 percent true and 50 percent absurdity and misinformation.
