Diese Woche beginnt, wie stets, mit dem Besuch bei den Großeltern in der "Käfersiedlung". Oma kocht Markus was Schönes. Großvater wird zusehends senil. Aber nicht nur sonntags herrscht bei Markus Routine. Auch in seiner, na ja, Beziehung zu Sonja ist alles Feuer erloschen. Sein Geld verdient er als Gagschreiber. Meist fur Phillip, einen Comedian, der auch schon bessere Tage gesehen hat. Markus soll es richten, denn so gut Phillip auf der Bühne ist, Humor hat er keinen. Dafür Erfolg bei den Frauen, aber das bedeutet ihm nicht viel. Markus auch nicht, aber er hat ja auch keinen Erfolg.
Dann trifft Markus im Zug Janne. Die ist mit ihm zur Schule gegangen und spielt in einer ganz anderen Liga. Trotzdem scheint sie sich für ihn zu interessieren. Kann sie Markus aus dem ganzen Elend retten? Oder eher Onkel Friedrich, der legendäre Kaffeekoster aus dem Hamburger Freihafen, den sie die "Zunge Europas" nennen?
