Publisher's summary

Dylan Carroll, an ambitious college student filmmaker still reeling from the death of her brother, may have just stumbled upon the opportunity of a lifetime.

Musician Kai White is in the middle of a public relations nightmare, and he may be keeping a secret that could turn things around. His manager/publicist wants to create a Web series aimed at cleaning up his image. There's also a promising offer at stake if Dylan can abide by the rule of staying strictly professional, and if she can figure out what Kai is hiding.

But Kai and Dylan already have an undeniable connection, and when they are together, they discover that rules are pretty easy to break. It's battling your own demons that's much, much harder.

As Dylan gets deeper into Kai's world, capturing his life on film, she'll learn that some secrets are so big, they are kept even at the expense of a career.

And that a person's story is often nothing like it appears from the outside.

Loved!

Read this book and loved it. Now I have listened to the audiobook and I loved it just as much. Definitely a must read! I wish Remake was on Audible as well.

Slow Start

After the first few chapters I was thinking maybe I had messed up getting this one but then the story started pulling me in. Then it happened, I got swept into the story. Yes at some points Dylan got on my nerves but then that's part of what I enjoy about a good book. I want my emotions to be drawn upon. I'm not saying I want to be aggravated about a book but I do want to be moved.

So I'm giving this one a Yes on the "worth a credit".

Wrong narrator

Abby Craden wasn't the right choice as a narrator because she didn't capture the youthful voice needed to make this angsty NA rocker romance hit the spot. I have heard her in other adult pnr such as Blood Rights by Kristen Painter and I liked her in that one.

This story required a teeny booper voice and she couldn't deliver. Also, there was no need for this audiobook to be this long. It was like pages of Dylan having her secrets and Kai hiding his own but they keep starting and stopping their attraction. The back and forth was whiplash inducing and it just got really old fast.

Ok listen

This was o.k. but i wish i had not used a credit on it and just waited until it went on sale. It seemed to me like the character was more high school then college.

Good but too long with unnessassary chapters

This was a great story, great narration...but man was it long. It actually felt long. I have read/listen to extremely long books... for example (Thoughtless series) but the difference between the (Thoughtless series) for example and this was angst. There was angst in this book, but after a while...it was just like get on with the love making already. Then the reason why they didn't for so long was kinda dump... I mean they were adults for peeks sake. This book could have loss like 7 of its chapters and still would have been just a good. I think the Kai could have been a little bit more angrier too. He really didn't seem tortured soul enough to me. Dylan was actually a great character all the way around. She seem just like what she was... a college student who fell in love with a true blue rock star.

Like I said...great book...just way way way too long.

A good credit... it is way too expensive to buy for some reason. Really almost 20 bucks... No way... Wait for your credit.

Narration was great!
