Decently done

This was a fairly well-done novel. The girls are likable for the most part, and the bratty one isn’t so bratty that it becomes annoying. Lance/West knew when to use that and when to pull it back. The cat girl is a *little*’too cutesy and naive for my taste but, once again, it’s not so bad that she ruins scenes she’s featured heavily in.

Only big drawback is dropping all the girls in at the start of the book means that you’re a little overwhelmed and you don’t get much time with each girl individually to go past the superficial things. Story-wise it makes sense to do it how it was done, but if you’re looking for deeper interactions with the girls as the story goes along, that really only happens with one girl.

Otherwise, the only thing that really bugged me was the MC’s memory loss. It seemed that he could remember random things when the plot needed him too but then other times he couldn’t. Would have preferred either one or the other because having him suddenly remember some bit of earth/previous life tidbit and then never have it come up again was enough to pull me out of the scene.

All-in-all, though a good first book. Would recommend for fans of the genre.

I like the Fighter focused class and the lack of overall magic prowess

The MC is generally considered to be very Fighter focused and based character. I enjoyed the diversity when it came to the Love Interest.

a fun beginning for an adventure

A fun and unique beginning to a series. A little bit of the standard characters, but I will give credit on a half gorgon as one of the main characters.

Make fantasy fulfillment.

The story starts good and I was excited to see where it went, but then all within a day. He is sleeping with some unknown woman.
Like” hey I just met you, and this is crazy. I like your powers so f me baby”.

Ruined the experience for me. I tried to continue after the fact. However, the mc is the gods gift to woman and irresistible. Whew.

I’m in all for a good scene and they were well defined. Unfortunately, after the first few hours it felt like everything was rushed and messed up the pace of the book.

Anyway, hope this helped someone.
