Publisher's summary

It is the limitations of our existence that make us love life and the beings we meet along the way. When teenager Miranda Ellis finds herself responsible for displacing the domestic cat population, sacrifice, love, and hope may be her biggest armament against forces that seek to use the science mishap as a weapon.

Heartbroken over losing her cat, Joule, along with billions of other pet owners, Miranda learns the quantum recipe has been changed to displace all cats. Yet in their place, a green and blue cat appears out of quantum thin air via a particle collider acceleration. As Earth Cat Zero proves the existence of quantum entanglement—living in both particle and wave form simultaneously—unnamed forces work to use the accident to selfish human advantages.

Can a team led by Earth Cat Zero, a teen girl, and an eccentric doctor use not only quantum physics but love and compassion to keep our universe spinning on course?

Unique and fun story. Author must have cats.

Unique and fun story. Honestly I've been getting tired of the same old stories told over and over. This story doesn't seem formulaic and I'm so happy. Just lost my cat recently and this wonderful story was a perfectly timed story for someone who needed a happy laugh.

mixed bag

While I found the narrator to be good, fitting vocals to character well, I also found that the story itself was, to me at least, a mixed bag aimed at two different age group, with the overall story feeling like it was meant for those of the jr high age, yet with content dealing with physics and quantum theory meant for the college age individuals with a better understanding of what was being covered, not counting the 'magical' science aspects of it.

so overall, a fairly decent package.

I love the story

My husband wrote this book and I wanted to be the first to buy it. Even after helping him proof the book and re-reading it several times, I couldn't wait for this version narrated by Brandon McKernan. He has done such a wonderful narration and really made the characters come to life. I want a second book of Earthcat but Gary Starta says this is his last book, he has other things to pursue now. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.

Escape into cat sci-fi; refreshingly fun.

I read the book firsthand and found it delightful! Then I had the chance to enjoy it in Audible. If you enjoy escaping from the troubles of your day, this delightful story of Miranda Ellis, her Mother, a strange Dr, and her beloved cat will entertain you beyond measure., This was my first Audible and the story of blue and green cats and quantum physics was fun and a light hearted escape from what I find in the nightly news. To escape into a light hearted world is to regain one’s imagination. I will give this book and it's Audible 5 BIG STARS for entertainment and I love, Loved the narration;,such a pleasant experience. Thank you Author Gary Starta.!
