Publisher's summary

The newest installment in the Mafia-themed contemporary romance series the Eagle Elite by New York Times best-selling author Rachel Van Dyken.

There are two sides to every story, and theirs isn't pretty, but then again, what's pretty about the Mafia? Trace Rooks, that's what. But she wants only one of them, and he'll kill the other before he lets him have her. The only problem is that they're cousins - and she may just be their long-lost enemy. Whoever said college was hard clearly didn't attend Eagle Elite University.

Welcome to hell, also known as the Mafia, where blood is thicker than life, and to keep yours, you must keep your friends close - and your enemies even closer.

HIS POV.

This was a lot better than the 1st book, Elite. I truly like the boy’s POV vs the girl’s POV. I think it’s okay to skip the Elite book and just go read 1st the Enforce book. It seems far more in details and understanding why the men are the way they are. They were a bit aggressive but his POV explains his behavior, all of them, really. Overall, it’s very good! Tracy doesn’t seems so whiny for some reason...more like EXTREMELY CLUELESS/VERY INNOCENT. Thank goodness for that. Soon, you face the push and pull of the 2 love interests, Chase or Nixon. I love it!

Loved this book!!!

I loved this book!! Great mafia romance that had me captivated from the beginning. I loved the multiple points of view and the different narrators for the different characters too. The storyline was very well-written and had me in the edge of my seat. I adore this mafia family and can’t wait to read the other books in this series. Highly recommend!

Several POVs

I found it interesting to have the POV from several major characters. It was a nice complement to the first book. Narration was great!

Great Read

Enforce (Eagle Elite #5) was a great read by Rachel Van Dyken. There are two sides to every story and Trace and Nixon's isn't pretty. Trace only wants one of the cousins. But she may also be their long lost enemy. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

Better than Elite

I honestly liked this book much more than I liked Elite. Enforce runs concurrently to Elite but is from the guys POVs. I’ve read (or listened) through the series multiple times now and except for a single read and a single listen ~ I always skip Elite and start with Enforce.

The first time, you kind of have to have Elite ~ but the writing and draw and connection just isn’t as solid as it is in Enforce. And I HIGHLY recommend the Audiobook as the four narrators elevate the experience even higher.

great series

this is the 4th I've heard from this series (I went out of order). this one moved the slowest and was the most predictable. Trace is far too .... too everything. first half she seemed strong. she went down hill fast to whiney. I'm sure I never need to hear "I'd die for her" in any of it's many variations again, ugh. at any rate, I'm still glad I listened. I'm going to skip the next book for now. don't need to see these life long friends go at each other over her any longer. maybe I'll go back to it

7-27 re-listened in order this time. can not say enough how much I love this series. this book is 4 stars. the series is 10 stars. peace

Great narration

Fantastic continuation of this series . Even though it's Nixons story you really feel the emotions of Chase

Angst, emotions, & Mafia

Enforce is a retelling of Elite from the guys (Chase, Nixon, Phoenix & Tex) point of view. I really enjoyed it! I felt that there was a much more raw and emotional vibe in the book. I got so anxious at one point that I had to take a short break! In my opinion I think it is because Rachel Van Dyken self-published Enforce allowing her to spread her Mafia wings! The world of the Elite is complicated especially when you are a farm girl tossed into it! I love the layers of depth as the story unfolds. Emotions run high while choices and sacrifices are made.

As I have said many times before I consider Elite & Elect the "baby mafia" books. The are traditionally published so certain rules and restrictions apply. Rachel was able to continue the series in the self-publishing world and BAM! Crazy knife play, marriages, betrayals and just plain insanity! there is a reason for the saying "Blood in, no out."

You must read/listen to Elite first as Enforce is a male POV version of events!

Narrators: Jeremy York, James Babson, Andrew Eiden, and Jack DuPont do an amazing job of bringing the mafia to life!

Love the series and love it on Audible!
