Publisher's summary

Once she was Eon, a girl disguised as a boy, risking her life for the chance to become a Dragoneye apprentice. Now she is Eona, the Mirror Dragoneye, her country’s savior — but she has an even more dangerous secret. She cannot control her power. Each time she tries to bond with her Mirror Dragon, she becomes a conduit for the ten spirit dragons whose Dragoneyes were murdered by Lord Ido. Their anguish floods through her, twisting her ability into a force that destroys the land and its people. And another force of destruction is on her trail. Along with Ryko and Lady Dela, Eona is on the run from High Lord Sethon’s army. Sethon has declared himself Emperor. In order to stop him, the renegades must find Kygo, the young Pearl Emperor, who needs Eona’s power if he is to wrest back his throne.

Eona, with its pulse-pounding drama, thrilling fight scenes, sizzling tension — and many surprises — brings to a close an epic story.

Really good.

I enjoyed both of these books and thought the twists and turns throughout kept me guessing and hoping. Worth the listen!

Fast-Paced, Trilling Fantasy

Alright, so I loved Eona. It had been a while since I'd read Eon but it didn't take long for me to get back into the story and remember who was who and what was going on. I was completely sucked into the triangle between Eona, Kygo and Ido. I felt Eona's confusion over what she should do but this was also the one thing that I disliked. To me, Eona was always so undecided and I just wished she'd hurry up and make up her mind. But, the awesomeness of the story overrode that problem. It's a completely unique fantasy set in a different land. The magic is awe-inspiring and the characters are all terrific and well-developed. I mean, I was even feeling the bad guy (Ido not Sethon).

Nancy Wu does a wonderful job narrating this story. It's a long listen but I highly recommend it.

Good but not great

Love love love the first story but the sequel was a little poopy. One kiss and the main character compared everything to that kiss through the hole story. i'm all about having a love story but this got a little annoying. For a character that spent 5 years pretending to be a boy she slipped into the female role awful easy. You would think she would understand the male mind better than this

But if you can get past the fixation the main underline story was good. But with the way it ended I'm hoping that there will be a prequel of some sort, it ended a little abruptly. Its such a good story that I really wanted some things to be elaborated more.

the reader rocks!!! Nothing more to say than that
