About the Gansett Island Episodes....

From Marie: My fictional island has become such a huge part of my life - and yours - over these last six years, and I've created so many characters who speak to me between books and during the writing of new ones. I can't possibly give them all a new story in every book, but I still have so much to say about them. With that in mind, I'll be launching a new Gansett Island Episodes series in 2017, featuring shorter stories about past characters who fans love and want more of. Mixed in with these episodes will be at least one full-length book a year. So we'll have plenty more from our favorite island, with new stories for past characters as well as all-new stories, too. I'm looking forward to this new adventure and hope you'll take the ferry to Gansett for the new episodes!

Very heartwarming story

There is so much to love about this story! We not only get Shannon and Victoria's heartbreakingly emotional love story but we get some of our favorite characters and the brand new things going on in their lives.
Excellent way to give us everything Marie Force!!

Great story! Naration was confusing.

If you could sum up Episode 1: Victoria & Shannon (Gansett Island Series) in three words, what would they be?

Love, family, and friends.

Any additional comments?

I loved the story and revisiting the characters of Gansett Island. I was a bit bothered by the narration of this book. There were a few times when the narrator voiced a male character using a voice clearly meant to be associated with a female character. Additionally, I had to ask myself, on a number of occasions, when Carolina picked up an Irish accent. That really threw me. Other than those inconsistencies, the narrator did a good job of transporting me back to Gansett Island and immersing me in the lives of the characters.

Great story

As always I enjoyed visiting Marie's characters.
Just one thing, Caroline should not be read with an Irish accent.

Magnificent as always

I don't know how Marie does it but she did it again! What a great story! I'm gonna seriously love these episodes!!! What a great idea!!!

FYI: Narrator Carolina, Shamus' wife is MOT from Ireland! No Irish accent was needed 😉 Yup, I noticed!

Return to Gansett Island

Any additional comments?

This is a short story and introduces us to Victoria and Shannon, plus catches us up with previous couples and births of 3 babies. Even though it's short, there was a lot of things going on. Marie manages to write this short story and still put a lot of details in it. Only one thing that keeps me from giving a 5 star rating to the narrator is the same fact that others have mentioned that she gave Carolina an Irish accent but other than that, I liked Joan Delaware's reading of this book. I look forward to more books like this from Marie Force. Definitely worth the credit!

As Always, Marie doesn't disappoint!

Marie brought up another hard to deal with subject within this book. I appreciated the novella injecting the importance of professional help after dealing with a traumatic event into all the excitement of love, lust and babies, babies everywhere! My only minor criticism is that Caro seemed to an Irish accent in the narration in Audible (maybe that's just me??)
Thanks Marie for Victoria and Shannon's story.

Another Pleasant Visit to Gansett Island

This is a short but sweet visit with some of our favorite characters from other Gansett Island books and one new couple. Vick and Shannon are so cute together on the surface but their relationship has some deep seeded problems that they need to overcome. Marie Force is amazing at giving our Gansett Island residents depths that keeps us coming back for more and even though short, this book is no different. I love the catching up with old friends and making new acquaintances.

Joan Delaware is okay as a narrator but her male voices sound too feminine and Gansett Island native Carolina developed an Irish brogue. But overall a pleasant enough listen.

This book was discounted with the Kindle version purchase so I would say it was definitely worth the price I paid. I have listened to other books in the Gansett Island series and will probably listen to others.

Too Short! Not liking the episodes for the money.

You can buy a whole book that is hours longer for that money. Needs more!
