Episode No. 5: Brad Ellis, Painter

  • Summary

  • Episode No. 5 is with Brad Ellis. Oklahoma born now Texas resident artist has been in the game for a long time, but has been making art an entire life time. We talk about growing up in Tulsa, going to art school in the 70's, finding the balance between a corporate paycheck and creative freedom,  being a Deadhead with an 80+ show count, and how he brings what he's learned from the Dead's music into his art and life.

You can find his art, where to see it in person, and contact him at his website, www.bradellisart.com.

We discussed a few painters, as well, in the show and thought I'd put a few of them in a list in case you'd like to deep dive their work too.
