  • In today's podcast, I share how to use essential oils for energy protection and my seven favorite oils. Many other oils can be used for spiritual protection; however, from personal experience, I know that my favorite 7 do the job. Essential oils are a quick fix to raise the vibrations in the air, room, vehicle, or just about any other place. I will concentrate on essential oils that remove bad energy from your home, room, office, or any indoor space. If other people use the same area, speak with them before using the oils to make sure they do not have allergies to the oils. Before using essential oils, open the windows to let the "chi" flow. Fresh air and clutter removal are always the first steps in removing negative energy. Think about it, how did you feel the last time you were in a cluttered room? Most people feel ill at ease because they do not match the energy of the clutter. How about being in a space that smells bad? OMG, the odor can be stifling and far from life-affirming. And you never know what narly creature is waiting for you to become their host. The basic formula for clearing space is to start at the entrance and walk around each room, spraying the essential oils on doorways, doorknobs, windowsills, each corner, and the middle of the room. Do this for each room in the space you are cleansing. If you are familiar with working with a pendulum, you can use it before and after using the essential oil as proof positive of your work. There is a school of thought that you have to work counterclockwise in the space. Depending on what I sense in the room, I sometimes work clockwise or counterclockwise. If you doubt, do the work and pay attention to how you feel when the work is complete. I leave the windows open when cleansing to make it easier for the negative energy to go bye/bye. You don't want them bumping into walls or going in circles trying to escape the cleansing. Opening the windows and doors allows for an easy escape. Then leave them open for an additional 15 minutes after using the essential oils. The general formula for mixing to spray essential oils is 2 ounces of grain alcohol and 25 drops of the oil. Shake well, and it is ready for use. Yes, grain alcohol like Everclear 190 proof 95% alcohol. If you cannot find Everclear, a vodka of 151 proof or 75% alcohol will also get the job done. The alcohol acts as a preservative and breaks down the essential oil allowing for a longer-lasting scent. Set your intention for the work and get going. The seven essential oils Peppermint oil is a pleasant-smelling oil that will get you out of your funk. In a room, it removes negative energy and low vibrational spirits. Do you feel as if you have ghosts in your space? Peppermint will make them run away. Peppermint is excellent for grounding you in your area and bringing you into the present time. A side benefit of peppermint is it makes you instantly feel better. After diluting with a carrier oil, you can use it on Throat, Third Eye, and Crown chakras. Lemon and all citrus fruits help remove negative energy and cleanse the air. The refreshing scent of lemon smells good, but it also sends energy with a lower-level vibe running away. If you don't have time to make a spray, a lemon cut into quarters and left in/near the center of the room will wipe out the negativity. Lemon oil is excellent as a psychic cleanser and household cleanser. Camphor - Do you like to smell Vicks vapor rub? If so, you will love Camphor. You will love Camphor even more because it effectively clears all types of negative energy and low-level vibrations. Camphor will raise your vibration and send negative entities away. Dilute with a carrier oil and apply as one would a perfume. This is an excellent oil to use in an oil burner to cut stagnant or harmful energies. If you have asthma or epilepsy or are pregnant, avoid this oil.
