Hope after devastation

I, too, was impacted by the character Eric in this story. Thanks to Dana’s fearless share, this is helping me heal more than I even knew I needed to. If you’ve been impacted by mental abuse and/or violence, or simply want to educate yourself on the topic, this book is highly recommended. Dana is an amazing writer and narrator who I’m very grateful to call my friend. I should also note that the end takeaway is incredibly positive and focused on growth. I applaud Dana on her resilience and commitment to expose the truth about narcissism.

Keep Lighting Up the Darkness

I recently heard Dana speak and I was so inspired by her story I not only bought her book, but also the audio version. There is something special about hearing the author narrate their own story. As Dana describes in her author talk, she believes it is her mission to help others. Dana is able to take her pain and make it purposeful. I see her doing more talks on a larger scale in the future. She speaks so eloquently and is able to convey her message in a meaningful way. She was made for this. Buy her book. Tell a friend.

Rare insight into the heart and mind of a survivor of domestic abuse.

This extraordinary book has the narrative drive of a mystery novel, but the mystery at its core is not the one found in a typical crime story. What the author unravels instead is the tangled relationship that links a master manipulator to a person rendered vulnerable by a heart full of hope.

Pain Meets Purpose & Prolific Prose!

Converting our struggles and overtly frightening experiences into beautiful art, does not a seamless challenge (and painfree endeavor) make!

Our author magnificently takes her past trauma to the pages of profound purpose; and she contagiously parlays her bold bravery into a spirit-building compass - lending to us all believing in safety and a meaningful life more, and in ourselves!

With Dana‘s vulnerability and articulate verse, she seems together the truism which many people gloss over or omit when filtering their stories in order to portray prettier versions, and she walks us through the insecurities of staying in unhealthy relationships and the repercussions which dwell therein.

Crying with her, rooting for her, and identifying with her through so much introspection, fear, and the desire for happier things, this is an important read for women in the dating world, and for anybody who wishes to uphold their faith in the galvanizing message that “everything WILL be OK“ because we will make it such!

A terrific job indeed.
