A beautiful exploration into Poetry
Rudy is far and away my favorite poet. This is his third book and he is only getting better and better. In "Excuse me as I kiss the sky," he explores several poetic forms. Before each he gives insight into the form and what it means to him. This is a polished and mature Rudy who has become more comfortable with himself and his craft. Truly a master at work.

This Is Needed
This work was complex and I enjoyed the journey Rudy took us on! I took notes on the forms, and stretching me in my own art.
