Great story

Would you listen to Far from Perfect again? Why?

Great Story - however the narrator leave much to be desired. Everytime she says "to" it sounds like she is reading from a script.

almost, had trouble putting it down

No matter how bad it gets, one can still find love

I ire the narrator, the story, it reminds me of my tough life. This let's you know you find live no matter how young or old

Its real life for many people. The story line makes you feel like you are there in Perfect.

All the lives that were affected and how the pieces of the story fell together.

It would be a toss up between C.J. and Noah.

This was my first book I've read and I'm going check out a few more of her books.

Sweet story

Nice escape with a sweet story. Had more twists that I thought it would have. I’d read another book by this author.

What did you like best about Far from Perfect? What did you like least?

I've read this book a dozen times. It's not bad but it doesn't break any new ground. If you've read Robyn Carr or Marilyn Pappano you've read this.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

Like any genre Contemporary Romance has a whole set of rules.
The best authors know the rules and set about seeing how many they can break. Penny Reid is the master at this. Terri Osburn also manages to push the CR envelope and her books are better for it.
Far From Perfect isn't bad, it's just like every other CR.

What other book might you compare Far from Perfect to and why?

Hmmm...Perhaps Brenda Novak's: Whisky Creek Series.

Which scene was your favorite?

The first 'love' scene - and no not for that reason. Noah baring his scars to her. The comfort Noah gives Ceejay in her time of need. The jumping on the bed - hilarious. There's some clever moments crafted in this book - I listen to audio books on the bus to and from work each day, so it's rather inconvenient when I have public tears followed by laughter. At least I have a seat all to myself.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Noah's character is amazing...the pain and healing he endures is what makes this book a fave of mine. A truly heart melting and soul warm love story. Loved the book, the storyline is great. I feel humbled that men and women live and give their lives to keep our peace and this book brings that home.

Any additional comments?

Leaves you with a 'warm and fuzzy'. I've read the teaser for Book 2 from Barbara's website - WOW! Annoyed that Book 2 isn't out until May 2013 (pouty face).

a beautiful story

I loved reading and listening to this story and the characters were well portrayed by the narrator can't wait to read the next book in this series

It is a cute story, predictable, but cute. If your in the mood for a happily ever after then this is for you.
