Very Enjoyable Listen

Overall good story and good narration. The couple things that kept it from a 5 star … transition between chapters/characters were too quick/not well defined so I would miss the change, get confused and then reverse 30 seconds to see what happened. It got better once I realized but still happened throughout the story. The ending was lackluster. It made sense but didn’t meet the expectation based on the pace of the story and the storyline. And maybe there is more to come in the next book. Which I will be watching for. The bonus is I live in Rochester so it was really cool knowing the places mentioned!! Definitely worth the listen.

The pacing was refreshing

Loved that the plot kept you guessing with the different perspectives of characters. The pacing was perfect keeping the flow smooth as it progressed farther along so you wouldn’t see the ending coming.

Great story line

The story is great and I’m excited for the next book in the series. My only piece of feedback would be that I had to rewind several times throughout the book because I didn’t catch the character changes and was confused. If there were longer pauses from person to person.

pretty good, not great

story was alright, but not overwhelming. narration sounded almost computer generated... in some areas definitely.

Not the best story but at least it was free on audible. Could’ve had a better ending.
