Good books

I wish they were longer but I loved this series. I felt the narrators male voice could have been better but I also felt like it was whining when she was reading about Karma and the 3 boys.
I finished these books quite quickly. I look forward to reading more..

There is nothing that falls short in this book!

If you could sum up Fated in three words, what would they be?

Exceptionally imaginative paranormal

What did you like best about this story?

ONE OF THE BEST EVER EPILOGUES!

The OMG SAY IT ISN'T SO jaw-dropping ending took me completely by surprise; I would have crumpled to a weepy mess, if it hadn't been for one of the best epilogues ever. Just thinking about the epilogue still leaves me with a smile.

Have you listened to any of Angel Clark’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Angel Clark capably narrated this installment as she has the previous books. She delivered another solid performance. Her voice for the villains was as chilling as ever and she delivered the wonderful spots of humor with aplomb. As before, I squeezed in some extra workouts and other listening times as I was so engrossed in the story and characters. I would not hesitate to pick up any book that Angel Clark has narrated.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I have been totally engrossed with this couple's story since the very beginning, and was nothing short of wowed by the thrilling perfection of this conclusion. I experienced a multitude of emotions listening to FATED from swooning, laughing, crying, nail-biting anticipation and indescribable horror.

Any additional comments?

This is one of those series that absolutely must be read in order. Do yourself a favor and start this series with the first book. That's not a bad thing as each book has been fantastic.

FATED is an absolutely awesome ending to Karma's and Fate's story within the author's Karma series. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys original, exceptionally imaginative, paranormal urban fantasies.

Awesome

I really enjoyed this book (and series.). I wasn’t expecting the ending and was glad for the way it turned out. I will be looking into getting the next set of books.

MEH

I never read the first book. Loved the writing in the second book, so immediately bought the third. I know, I know but I figured I could always circle back to the first if I needed.
Anywho, I needed a good PNR to take me away and book two really sucked me in at the right time but book three was just meh for me. It wasn't a case I'd high expectations but more didn't flow with book 2. The story almost seemed written by someone else. The pacing was off. The story had lots of plot holes. The baddies seemed diminished and more an afterthought like "oh yeah I gotta tie things up with that guy".
I think I would have rather there be a fourth book and the story told properly than a chopped up wrap up book. It made no sense and was not needed if that's the way it was going to be laid out. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I hold any bitterness to the story, just it didn't fit the arc or characters. I'd say pass and stop at book 2 🤫

Finally!

After listening to Karma whine for the last two books, she finally gets it! The ending isn't what I was expecting, but one should never mess with her! Kudos for not being selfish ;)

As always, Angel Clark did an awesome job as narrator! I eagerly await the next series!

Fate and Karma ... Happily Ever After???

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The narrator. I really liked the series but the narrator is not my favorite.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Fate and Karma ... you knew by this book how they would end up, just didnt know how they would get there.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

not at all

Do you think Fated needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Nope, this series was wrapped up nicely.

Any additional comments?

Fast forward will be your friend

Too much droning in about how she shouldn't like Fate. Too many full chapters dedicated purely on their fighting, or her conflict with being into him, and serf. Way too many sex scenes. I used the fast forward function more times than I would like to get through the mundane scenes and even full chapters and still didn't muss anything important.

The first two books did a decent job setting up the story for the characters. This book barely had anything related to their battle with Malocin (listened on audible so no idea of spelling of his name). And then when it did it was (spoiler alert) very anticlimactic.

If there is a fourth book I hope the author saves all the unneeded sex and character conflicts related to her live life.

meh

I think the idea of the story is interesting. However, I had a hard time getting into this book. The narrator is ok.
