When a violent confrontation reveals that everything Cyn thought about her past is wrong, she realizes that she has the power to change her future. The first part of that is making sure that Micah Arora is around to be a part of it.

Enjoyed the 3 book series

The 3 main characters were separated from the 1st book. All three had separate stories but all took place in the same area.

Slow burn a bit predictable but fun

This second book isn't nearly as funny as the first and it is simply because both the MMC and the MFC are more serious people. I absolutely love the universe and the Space Mafia Families basically gearing up for war. I just wished it progressed a bit further than it did in this book. Which is really my only complaint, it is a slow. The romance is sweet but slow, the main plot drags in the middle, and the final outcome is a bit rushed. I found the main antagonist predictable, but I think that was purposeful so that you could maybe accept the MFC's but of self loathing. I just didn't think it resonated the way the author intended (at least not to me) since it was a short lived acknowledgement after the reveal.

Overall I really like this series and this author's writing style. I believe there is a 3rd book coming and I plan to listen to it as well (I really like this narrator too) so worth sharing the recommendation.

fun adventure

good performance good characters good writing overall I found it to be a fun sci-fi adventure with romance I didn't stop listening to it thank you for providing this book on audiobook

Action packed

The main character resonates with me even more than in Calamity and the book is full of action, mystery, romance, and a couple steamy scenes. Neat that it makes me want to reread Calamity as we get more insight into the crew. Can’t wait for the third book!

Enjoyed greatly!

Fiasco is another enjoyable escape and a nice follow up to Calamity - the characters are fun and I liked getting to know more of the crew, good world building, and fun and intriguing plot with a great twist. I can’t wait for the next one!
