Romantic, liberating and totally addictive, the Fifty Shades trilogy will obsess you, possess you and stay with you forever.

When Ana Steele first encountered the driven, damaged entrepreneur Christian Grey, it sparked a sensual affair that changed both their lives irrevocably. Ana always knew that loving her Fifty Shades would not be easy, and being together poses challenges neither of them had anticipated. Ana must learn to share Grey's opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own integrity or independence; and Grey must overcome his compulsion to control and lay to rest the horrors that still haunt him.

Now, finally together, they have love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of infinite possibilities. But just when it seems that they really do have it all, tragedy and fate combine to make Ana's worst nightmares come true....

I love 50 being in love

I came to realise by the end of the third book, that this trilogy is all about the love story. The kinky sex is interesting but in the end its all about a desperate, all consuming love that many many people never experience. The kind of love where despite the hardships, a couple really do adore each other and ..........yes....... it does happen. Its also about the female need to save a handsome and esentially good but very damaged man from himself, and see that love does win over in the end. Yes the books are repetivive but to be honest who cares. It was all about heart and I loved them:) Becca Battoe has done a nice job of the reading.

Fifty Shades Freed

After book two I really didn't know where this story could go and I have to say I really didn't expect where this book took me. However once again the interaction between Christian and Anastasia was excellent. The kidnapping scene was resolved a little easily for me however once again an excellent read.

Again Becca Battoe handled the performance very well and made it easy to listen too.

Overall and excellent series of books that I will continue to enjoy listening too in the years to come.

A perfect finale

Where does Fifty Shades Freed rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top 3 and only behind the first two.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades Freed?

When Ana has to save Mia from the clutches of Jack Hyde and she goes to the bank to get the money and Christian asks her if it was always about the money. My heart broke for him, completely broke.

What does Becca Battoe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

All the different characters come to life

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Ana found out Christian had gone to see Mrs Robinson after storming out after finding out Ana was pregnant.

What did you like best about this story?

finalisation of most issues

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

She was good but I always prefer different voices for different character

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Finally more story and less sex

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Freed again? Why?

It is probably one of those stories you only need to listen to once, although my partner is now listening to it in the car and I admit I am getting a lot more out of it second time round.

What did you like best about this story?

Finally Ms James has seemingly got bored with all the sex and started to concentrate on the story and the journey. In this book we now are allowed to let our imaginations work a little as to what happens 'in between' sundown and sun up.
I suspect perhaps her editor may have had a hand in it.

What does Becca Battoe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator turn what would otherwise read as a fairly trashy sleazy story into a genuine love story that you do become interested in. She really does an incredible job of letting the listener believe it is Ana and Christian talking to one another.

If you could rename Fifty Shades Freed, what would you call it?

No that is the appropriate title.

What did you love best about Fifty Shades Freed?

the story line and the way it was built from book one to the end of book three

Any additional comments?

I did get a bit frustrated wit the complete narration of subject lines and other mundane details of the email conversations.

If only.....

Why wasnt the ending thr beginning? Actually I know why..but finally seeing inside Christian's head was awesome and it probally may have been one book instead of three and we may not have felt how we did about him in the end.
