LOOK OUT! It’s only Films To Be Buried With!

Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with let's just say it like it is, national treasure, DAVID MORRISSEY!

David is a true champ in film and TV, with a varied and awesome collection of roles in the industry and a whole bunch on the horizon too... As such, David knows what's what, as you will hear clearly on this fantastic and fun episode with a ton of the usual behind the scenes goodness - and as always, not just the studio scenes. It's continually amazing how interlinked the cinematic and let's say 'real' worlds are, and how they reflect and work with how our own heads and imaginations do. This episode is more evidence of how powerful it all is and how meaningful it can all be. ENJOY!

LOOK OUT! It’s only Films To Be Buried With!

Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with the extremely funny comic, podcaster, actor and writer PHIL ELLIS!

Phil joins Brett from a small window of non-Fringe time during his stint up in Edinburgh performing his 'Come On And Take The Rest Of Me' show - and the ep is a delight, as Phil chimes in on all sorts including Preston origins, Dad's movie recommendations, old fashioned horror, cat suits, auditions and his very tricky Red Dwarf experience, and all things Fringe and how one copes with such a thing. It's a really lovely one, and you'll enjoy this one for sure - have fun!

A long-time-coming type episode featuring a lovely chat with the excellent maker of extremely scary movies! This episode rates low on scares though, you might be happy to know, and what it swerves on the scare-scale it more than makes up for in good time convo. In this one it's interesting to hear so much from the person who forms such a big piece of the puzzle of modern horror, and get a real insight into what it takes to create the movies AND make huge blockbusters too. Several sides of the coins that we don't always get to see or hear from. Oh and creepy dolls! So please, take a comfy seat or indeed adopt a lying position while enjoying this fabulous episode.

Interesting people discussing interesting movies!

I've been enjoying Brett Goldstein's performance in Ted Lasso and was intrigued by his podcast.

An extra thrill was hearing that Edgar Wright liked The Ruins, a horror movie I worked on!

I love this podcast. Brett Goldstein is funny and kind and sooooooo interesting. plus he's Roy Kent! I discovered films that I've never heard of and rediscovered films I had forgotten about. Take a listen. You won't regret it.

The movie that made me sob cry...

The Fall (2006). The scene with the pills and later with the monkey. Full on ugly, cathartic, sobbing, hyperventilating tears. I had never even heard the name Lee Pace, and now every time I see him play an elf king or a blue Ronan, I feel like he's being wasted. (And this coming from someone who loves elf kings and the MCU.)

Love this podcast. It's delightful in all the ways the Office is not.
