Cute story

Layla was a YouTube host for a cooking show, and she wanted Avery to star in her show. When she went to ask him, he had his reservations about being in the spotlight. He just had a past he didn’t want being known. But so did Layla.

These two were great together. They had instant attraction, but they didn’t immediately act on it.
And I liked that they both opened up to each other, and they got healing and closure from their pasts.

This is told in third person POV, which I normally have a hard time reading. But I didn’t mind it in this book.

The narrators did a great job bringing the story to life. This was my first time listening to Eric G. Dove, and he was perfect for Avery.

I really enjoyed reading this author.  I look forward to reading more books by this author in the near future.
