Quality story & narration

I love the duo of Mary Connealy & Barbara McCulloh!! Every story is worth the cost. Now I have to go dig through the other less worthy books to find a good story fix again….

Well written storyline…

The story begins with action and continues through the whole book. The characters are described with words that allow you to feel as if you know them.

Forged in love was excellent. It was funny, intriguing and kept you on edge. The romance was beautiful and simplistic. The book was perfect. I hope there,s a sequel

Beautiful story

Love it and am a repeat reader/listener. The narrator made the overall book experience wonderful, and compelling to finish. You will not regret listening to this.

Too Wordy

The author left too many story details unexplained. Her research of horsemanship needs to be more extensive. The love relationship became too "drippy" especially for a female character raised in a smithy.

Not A Fan

I am really disappointed that I did not like this book, this author has been on my radar for a while and this is her recent release ..
The book talks about Mariah who is a daughter of a blacksmith, one day she was found under a carriage nearly dead with her father and brother shot to death, and what makes matters worse is that she doesn't remember anything about that day but she is the target of whoever killed her family to kill her too, then we meet Clint, he is the restaurant owner of the city, he likes to cook French cuisine to "refine everyone's palate", but Clint has been interested in Mariah for the last two years, and now that he almost lost he will do anything to prove his love and make Mariah his
the biggest reason why I didn't like the book is that false advertisement of the book, the summary said that the town's people didn't welcome Mariah or Clint, but in the book they were very welcoming and some of them risked their lives to save Mariah and help Clint to get his love .. it was a really nice town .. also I didn't like Mariah that much and the relationship between those two was so forced, it could've been anyone and they would have the same story ..
as I said I've been looking to read for this author .. I'm hoping that her earlier work will have more passion that this
