Forty Reasons to Die

This is Book 5 in the Magical Midlife series, and I devoured it in one sitting and this series is getting better and better!! I so can't wait to see how it ends but then I don't want it to end...quite a conundrum! Katie Hagaman continues to do a wonderful job narrating, I can't enough of this series!! I love Raven and Rene, but my absolute favorites are Cass and Isra!!

Wow

This was a wonderful audiobook, the story was entertaining and I loved that enough personality came through that I was able to tell who everyone was. It brought a lot more emotion to the book then I usually see myself so I loved this version.

The narration was absolutely top notch as well with good timing and expression.

Raven and Rene

Forty Reasons to Die is book 5 in the Magical Midlife Death series. I recommend listening to the books in order. Each pick up where the previous left off, building and bring more to the storyline. I am completely absorbed by Tia’s books! Raven is a witch, with extraordinary powers. She is funny, quirky, and a does not tolerate being pushed around. Rene is the vampire overseer, ancient, with extraordinary powers of his own. These two fight against the Coven’s manipulations and attempt to control everything. Excellent story, and looking forward to book 5.

Great Addition To This Paranormal Series

Someone is trying to kill Raven and she and Rene are out to find the culprit. Rene is doing his level best to keep Raven alive even though she is technically dead. With so much up against Raven it is getting harder for her, and I am so pulling for her. I find this to be an entertaining read that has drama, danger, mystery, mayhem, action packed, page turning adventure, great characters and a plot that held me captive yet a bit leery of the outcome for Raven. Patiently waiting for the next book in this series.

Fantastic addition to series

This is the fifth book in this series and yes they do need to be read or listen
to in order.
I found this book had a little more steam in it as the two main characters relationship
has developed more.
There’s still the mystery of who’s behind all the trouble and who what’s a war between
vampire which’s and human so the storyline is getting real interesting.
The narrator seems to have a great ability of bringing characters and story to life.

Flushing Out Traitors

Constant attempts on Raven's life are starting to ramp up and the narrator does such a great job in portraying the fear, anger and frustration that envelops this character. I also enjoy the voice over she does for Rene which is at times snarky as well as serious. I look forward to the next installment.

Once again Raven's life is threatened. She tries to use her magic but it isn't working. Something is binding it. The other ache is that the man getting ready to kill her was an admirer of her. Renee takes care of the man but it's discovers that the group he worked for is comprised. So a in depth cleansing is underway. Renee, Raven and Cass head back to the clan house. There is a transition going to take place and Raven will be a witness. That is when she learns of another who is into artifacts and history. The search is now on for pages of the project about the Blood Witch. The more they learn the more the pressure turns in. It send there may be a traitor in the clan. Deaths are still continuing. No vampire is save. Will they find what they are looking for? Another puzzle piece is a page about the Lycan King but the lycans were all destroyed. Are the pages reliable or a deterrent?
Fast paced action with a mystery that seems twisted.
The narrator : Katie Hagaman brings the characters to life.

Great audiobook

This is a great audiobook I really enjoyed listening to this book it is a very good story I would highly recommend this author to any book loving friends.

Great continuation

This is a really good listen. I love this series of books and can't wait for the next one to come out. I love how snarky Raven is, and she's also more powerful than she knows and that's cool. Cass is amazing.

On the hunt for the Lycan's temple

This is book 5 in this series and with each book it leaves with a cliffhanger. This story picks up where it left off in book 4. Raven is held at gun point and trying to figure out how to stay alive. She and Rene are still hunting for pages of the prophecy. This is a page turning, wonderful novel with adventure, romance and many individuals attempting to kill Raven. By the end of this story the cliffhanger just made me want to read the next book to see where the story goes.
