Publisher's summary

When widower Rich Redman returns to Pennsylvania with his young daughter to sell his deceased grandmother’s house, he discovers Grandmother Gertie’s final request was for him to find a missing relative and a stash of WWI jewels.

Torrie Larson, single mom, is trying to make her landscape center and flower-arranging business succeed while attempting to save the lineage of a rare white rose brought from Austria in the 1900s.

Together, the rich Texas lawyer and poor landscape owner team up to rescue the last rose and fulfill a dead woman’s wishes. But in their search to discover answers to the mysteries surrounding them, will Rich and Torrie also discover love in each other’s arms? Or will a meddling ghost, a pompous banker, and an elusive stray cat get in their way?

Fairly Clean & Sweet Romance

This was a such a cute story! The author did a great job with the plots, character development and closing of the bedroom door before the story got too explicit. Without giving much away my only issue was with the haunting of the house... it was not what I was expecting and I felt it to be a bit of a stretch. Other then that I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It had the drama and romantic pull that you look for in this genre without being sappy.

Beautiful story involving small town relationships

Small towns share positive and negative relationships. This book showed the interaction of small town families and the towns movers and shakers. Great reading and movement without hoping the author would "get on with the activity" I enjoyed this book and hope readers share my experience.

Mixed views

I thought the description sound great and it is something I would read. I really liked the romance between the two characters and I loved the girls, they sounded so sweet. However, I just found it slow going. It took a while for it pick up. This is not to say that it was not interesting. I wanted to to know about the mystery they tried to solve. It, for me, just dragged. This is my personal opinion and others might think otherwise. I noticed a lot of the reviews loved it. Would I read another book by this author? yes I would. Would I still recommend it? I actually would recommend it. It had romance, there was some intrigue and suspense, a mystery and it was also about family, loss, friendship, community and second chances.

Four White Roses

Four Whit Roses is a wonderful story. This was my first book by Judy Ann Davis. I have to say I loved every minute. The more I read the more I fell in love with the characters and their story. It had all the Feels. A touch of mystery even a ghostly presents. There was even romance. Highly recommended for all who loves a good romantic suspense. I want to be honest. The only complaint, I have nothing against the narrator. I just feel his voice was a bit older. Bob Johnson, I feel would do better with a documentary. I voluntarily accepted a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

Good Love Story

This was an interesting take on a love story of second chances. A relationship-shy heroine and a man who refuses to give up. I liked the many twists the story took and the narrator was a good match for the story. I loved the housekeeper. She made the story for me. She did not allow either of them to get sideways of what was really going on and then the ghost in the rocking chair and the conniving banker, as well as the real estate best friend and two daughters who just knew they were meant to be together all made for a great story. I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review.

Just a touch of whimsy...

The story is wonderfully satisfying with a few surprises built in. Each chapter ends too soon and leaves you eager for more.

There's No Place Like Home

Rural Pennsylvanians actually sound more like Wisconsin than West Virginia, but the various drawls affected by narrator Bob Johnson were perfectly effective and provided exactly the right ambiance for this tale of a powerful Texas attorney returning to his roots and discovering "There's No Place Like Home!"

Great Story! Secrets Revealed

This is the first book by Judy Ann Davis that I have listened to. She writes a great mystery combined with simmering romance (the romance ends in innuendo instead of details.). I enjoyed the paranormal aspect of the ghost. The treasure hunt was great too. I thought that Bob Johnson did a great performance. He delivers the right tempo for the story and his voice has fitting expressions and distinguishable characters. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I wasn't certain what way the story was going to go, but I enjoyed the twists and loved the ending. I would definitely listen to more books by author and narrator.

Wholesome!

This story was nice and wholesome. It was great because you get romance, suspense and mystery all in one book. I really enjoyed the housekeeper and the treasure hunt aspect of this story. The author had good character builds and endless flowing plots The narrator did a great job with all the characters. This was my first book by this author but will definitely not be my last!
