About this listen

Tweens will love following the adventures of Mackenzie “Zee” Blue. California girl Zee is an expert shopper, plays the guitar and writes songs, and makes purses and jewelry. She knows how it feels to have a huge crush. And she knows how to be a good friend and keeps in touch via texts and emails.

In Friends Forever?, third in Tina Wells’s delightful middle-grade series, Zee and the rest of her class from the Brookdale Academy are off on a camping trip to compete in an environmental scavenger hunt. Zee is extra psyched because her best friend, Ally, is visiting from Paris. It should be fabulous having all her friends in one place, but for some reason everyone is fighting!

Loved It soooooooooooo much

I am Amina and I’m 7 years old. I loved the Mackenzie blue series and the reason I loved this one is because (no spoilers) but all I can say is that at the end Mackenzie and her friends are a little bit tricky.

One Thing i Hate and One thing I questioned

I read a lot of teen and childrens books because I am mentally handicapped so I dont actually understand books for adults. One of my other disabilities prohibits the ability to grow breats or ever start my period meaning i am smaller than small and can never have children or any of the things involved in having children. So even though I like to read books about kids going through school and such with all of its drama I did not like the parts in this book that were about the girls getting or not getting their periods. first of all its just gross. kind of ruins the mood. if theres a right kind of book or right kind of time to put that in a book its because the book is an educational all about or how to nonfisction book. this isnt the first time a middle grade fiction book has done this and ive had to return the title after reading. if you have read the friendship list book series about 2 completely opposite friends. one girl goes off to camp and gets her period. the book series is a number titles thing. the first book starts at 12 or 11 and even has a half number book too. there are 3 or 4 in the series. check it out please because it deals with way more relatable real stuff than just a silly little period problem with 11 or 12 year olds. if you are a little younger than a middle schooler and have problems you think are a big deal, but maybe arent that big of a deal then you should look into the stella blue book series. it kind of made me think i was reading the ramona series by beverly cleary except that was from my day and stella blue is from todays time. the ramona series also reminds me of judy moody from today. that series is a nonstop ralateable dare you not to laugh book for kids of 6-12. and there are way too many in the judy moddy series to even begin to pick a favorite.
ok enough reccomendations from me. here is the question i want to know. where did this fantabsome word come from they use a lot. or is it fantawsome. i dont know. i get what the word combo is supposed to mean, but are kids(aside from texting) really so lazy they cant say the whole words. the reason i say this is because i remember watching the duff movie and learning the saying amazeballs and someone actually thought i was their age(teenage). so i was cool. but these kids in these books are also saying cool beans. thats mostly because their band name is beans. still isnt saying cool a lot easier than saying 2 words. for me in my day i think we said cool cool. today that just seems stupid to repeat the same word twice. then again i am old so what do i really know. listen to me. dont listen to me. but whatever it is you want to say just say it please. dont shorten or leave anything out. just be simple and correct please. i am addicted to english always being my favorite school subject so thats why this bothers me so much.
