Excellent and engaging!
It's great to find interesting characters and a lively story that's not full of angst or darkness or chaos.
Another well written and satisfying book by Sandy Toksvig. She always lifts you up with her prose and narration, even when tackling the confusing art of living and the common issues facing us all.
I'll be sending it to everyone on my holiday gift list.

Delicious escape
Toksvig is such a thoughtful writer and delicious reader. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The multiple character narrative and quick humour kept me glued.

Funny, heartwarming, queer folk
I did not know how much I needed this. I am so grateful for a delightful, humorous and loving story that includes queer characters but isn’t centered on their sexuality.

First book I have ever read by her and oh my how I miss the characters already!!!!! I didn’t want it to end.
